Black! Kind of boring, but our kitchen is black and chrome, so it will look really good!

Awesome! Which one? We have the Artisan (bought it off Craigslist for less than 50% of retail, score) and it is amazing. I just couldn't imagine cooking without it anymore, especially after having done the cake trial.
Totally worth it, enjoy and cook up some wonderful things!
My grandma gave us one and it is hands down the best gift we received. I don't know what I did before...stand there and hold the mixer for minutes on end? What was I nuts?

We wanted the KitchenAid Mixer too, but when we realized how much it cost we felt bad about it and took it off the list. Besides I don't think we will do that much baking. It's just a material thing. I'm not very materialistic. Well, congrats! and your so lucky!

I just learned that my Aunt and Uncle are getting us the KitchenAid Mixer we registered for! I really didn't think anyone would buy it (most expensive thing on our registry) and had actually planned to buy it with a coupon once we were back from our honeymoon. Yay!
