@Zephi:  aaahhh my grandma and grandad live in Hawera, my dad was born there!! so weird your moving there as its such a wee small country town not many people have heard of it!!!!!! so cool though ull get to see Mt Taranaki all the time:D im from ChCh, were still recovering from the quakes but its still an amazing city.
if you love photography i think youll love wanaka and queenstown!

Shopping in new zealand isnt that great tbh, esp when your coming from america..and moving to a small town. Auckland and Wellington would be the best places to go clothes shopping. And some small towns dont have a lot of variety. good furniture shops would be harvey norman, big save and farmers but if Hawera have those??? lol

 

And no nothing can kill you here, only detranged people..

Everything is close to each other in NZ. Lake Tekapo, Queesntown, Wanaka are amazing places for taking photos. Wineries are all close, Im getting married at one 20 minutes away!

@Zephi:  the south is beautiful!!!! lake Tekapo is amazing too!!!!!!! you’ll definitley have to explore – and the west with all the glaciers too. our country is awesome 😀

@Zephi:  Oh dear is there not many there? Theres a few here in chch but not a lot I guess, but none of those ones that people post here that look amazing!

You could possibly get away with getting married in wellington or auckland which are close enough..
