That is really exciting! Laughing I love six prong solitaires! I can’t wait to see pictures! When I had my stone reset it only took a day to put it in the new ring, so hopefully yours will be just as quick.

I got engaged with a yellow gold six prong solitaire, but recently upgraded my setting to my dream setting. I loved the solitaire, but it wasn’t really MY personal style. Our proposal story is more quirky than romantic. He proposed to me while we were working out lol!

Here’s my new ring:

That’s so exciting!! Waiting is the worst. I’ve spent WAY too much of my time stalking other peoples’ rings on this board for the past year. Post some pictures when you get it! Six prongs are always gorgeous.

My fiance and I have been engaged for since September and looking at rings for almost a year now. We live in a small farming based city and saying that the jewelery selection is slim is an understatement!  Canada doesn’t really have Black Friday, usually just a few sales, but we figured we should look anyways. We ended up in a tiny little independent jewelery store, I fell in love and the owner gave us an amazing deal.

So here’s my new precious 🙂 NO idea why it’s sideways and above all of the writing..

@Love44:  Thank you! Well, we were at home doing P90X and talking about getting married someday and next thing I know he just was on his knee and asked me to marry him! I was like “Are you serious right now?” and it turns out he was. We ordered my ring that night and announced it to our families and went out to a romantic dinner when it came in a week later. I think he must have had some happy endorphins going on or something, because it was totally out of no where!
