I'm about to leave the house to go to my dress fitting!!! :) Just wanted to share my excitement with someone b/c my man definitely doesn't understand!I bought my dress at an outlet so it's pretty big on me. I'm really excited to see how it will look on me without having to tug and pull and imagine! I know this is just the fitting so I wont get to see what it looks like today obviously, but I'm one step closer to seeing the finished product!!

It went really well! I'm already back she's super nice and super fast! It's going to be ready to try on in 2 weeks! The only problem is my dress is backless so I was going to just go braless (it has underwire so you can't tell) but, once the dress is fitted the wiring alone wont provide enough support and might make my boobs look a little saggy! So now I'm on a mission to find a good backless push-up bra! Not something I had originally budgeted for so I'm hoping to find one under $20 or so.. wishful thinking?

Glad it went well! Check out Kohls, I've found a few good strapless/convertible backless ones. I like their Lily of France brand a lot, and most come in at $20-$30. Otherwise Anthro just came out with a new line of bras, and I saw a really cute backless one for about $45.

You might also try the VS convertable bra (the one that has all the different straps and can be worn 100 ways or something).  They are $50 but it might be worth it.  Plus, you would have it for later on.

@lily thanks! I didn't even think of stores like that.. we have a ross and a marshalls which are almost the same thing. I'll have to go check them out!
@miss root- that's funny you mentioned VS I was just looking at the invisible pushup bra online wondering "when could I ever wear this thing again!!" The 100 way one sounds good though I'll check it out!

They are going to sew a push up bra into my dress at the salon for only $15! I would see if you can get that done.

    Bella,

Great dress and looks beautiful on you. I would definitely see if they can sew in foam cups or a bra to the front of the dress.

I know when I was trying on dresses my chest went from just above average in size to looking nonexistant and every shop said they would sew in cups for me. So great to not have to worry about elastic digging into your back or having your MOH on bra peeking out duty!

You look beautiful!!! Also, I used to used the gel inserts (aka chicken cutlets ha) when I did pageants in my gowns and swimsuits and I loved it! You can definitely reuse them over and over just do a light rinse with soap and water on a washcloth and let them air dry so they get sticky again.

I saw that you already thought of it, but I was going to suggest the sticky-insert thingies as well. "chicken cutlets" hehehe.

Very pretty dress - you look great! :)

I've used that stick on bra before and I felt like it pulled my brests down in stead of holding them up :( It also really hurt when I took it off... I would definately try it beforehand and wear it for a while to see what you think.

Thanks girls! I've heard good and bad things about the "chicken cutlets" so I'm going to try them out and see how they work for me with my dress at my next fitting! If they don't work out I'll definitely ask if she can sew a bra in for me thanks for the suggestion @Neele I hadn't thought of that :) I hope she does it!

@Starbit- Thanks! I thought it was a unique style :)
@leelee- Thank you so much! I'll definitely keep the pics coming! I tried a tape before and it didn't work out so well.. maybe the brand just wasn't a good one but I didn't feel any support at all! :( I'm a little larger I wear a 32D so that could be why!

i think you should tell your seamstress to sew cups into your dress. every bridal salon sells them they cost like 15 0r 20 dollars they come in different cup sizes you can even go a size up than your natural cup size and you dont have to worry about the cutlets being expose from your dress or even worse falling on the ground. lol that wouldnt be funny or maybe???lol
