Oooh, so difficult, I love them both. But for you, I'd say black.
I like the blingy sash! I think the black one is a little much. You look great!
I like the black sash better with that dress, which you look beautiful in, btw :)
I can see why you are excited about the dress! I really like the black sash.
What's your arm tattoo?
I love the black sash it totally does something to the dress that the diamond one doesn't
@actingdarling: I agree with this post!
I have a bias, my dress has a blackish sash also.
The black sash really stands out against the dress...I think it brings the whole look together!
I vote blingy sash. It blends nicely with the dress. I think the black bow really stands out and you don't really notice as much of the dress, which is fabulous btw.
@kaylee26: my shoulder pieces are birds...one side is a darker sparrow in front of a fall to winter theme, and the other is a lighter sparrow in front of a spring to summer theme....lots of symbolism for time, choices, direction of life...all that jazz. They will eventually be half sleeves!

OMG I used to work in MWC! And we are getting married on the same day! That dress is stunning, btw.
Okay about the sash: I like the blingy one.
@lisalew5472: haha, no kidding?? We're actually tying the knot in Jenks at the Aquarium there. Where are you having yours? And congrats on the fine choice of wedding date!

I am not typically a fan of black on a wedding dress, but I think that sash is great!!!
And you look fantastic in your dress, btw!
I'd say the black or a thicker bling belt --- the 2nd one looks a bit skinny for all that dress.
@cejo13: agreed. The bling sash they brought out as a sample was definitely not one I would choose myself. I was thinking a thicker bling with a wider, darker grey sash backing it.
I chose the black sash because i feel like the glitzy one gets swallowed up by the drama of the dress

Just received an email saying my dress is in! We weren't supposed to get it in until March, so this is exciting news!
First fitting is in July (September wedding), and I'm worried I may lose *too* much weight for alterations. Those can add up, right? Does anyone know what an everage cost is for taking a dress in a couple sizes and adding a bustle?
Also, we purchased the black sash when we bought the dress, but I'm now considering a dove grey sash with a lot of bling/beading/sparkle. Any suggestions? (don't mind the photos, I was not feeling terribly well that day, hah)
I didn't think I'd be one of those brides that just "knew" when they saw themselves in "their" dress, but I totally was. It's true that the dress chooses you! I chose a Vera Wang dress from her White collection. Waddaya think, Bees???
