Weddingbee boards

I just came over here from wedding wire, and I have to say, I like wedding bee a whole heck of a lot better than I like wedding wire. I can post something with confidence that I won't be ganged up on and told I'm an Idiot or that I shouldn't be getting married because I "can't afford" THE dress...and want to buy it used. I love that snarkiness and such is not allowed on the boards here, it makes me absolutely happy knowing that no one will be rude to me just to be rude.

@SandyThePoet: they weren't shunning me for not being a rich bride, they ganged up on me, and attacked me verbally for not wanting to buy a Davids Bridal dress, I don't like Davids Bridal, I have nothing against their dresses, I just have something against their customer service. They made it out like I was "settling" on a cheap dress, and what I was actually doing was having to deal with bad customer service for a nice dress at a reasonable price. (I have heard SEVERAL horror stories about DB)Then they made it out like I was going to buy a knock off dress from DHgate (which I may if I can't afford the dress I want new, or can't find it in/near my size used), which I didn't just say "I'm going to buy from here", I asked for help and ALL the snarky brides (which it seems like that's all that seems to be on there) came out and attacked me again, which after that I wrote the people of the site and told them to just delete my account and came here instead. I haven't been here long but I seem to like it here, I haven't been brow beaten for wanting to do something someone finds "tacky" or thinks I shouldn't do it. I have already gotten a lot of help from some of the brides here and I enjoy it.
