Oh yeah he should not be driving if he is already drinking.

Always good to have a backup plan for situations like this.  We usually put my dad “on call” as he rarely even partakes of one cocktail, so I always know that he is there for those situations.  I just usually call him and ask him if he will be our “on call” driver if we need it and he has never had an issue with it, he has done this ever since I was a teenager.

Nothing wrong with having fun but yeah, definitely get those keys asap.

What time did he start drinking, lol? Geez does he not drink often or is this more normal than you’d like? Be safe tonight!

Yea… I think I’d go ahead and grab those keys! Or call a taxi for the night. =)

Does he have a history of alcohol abuse? I only ask because it’s New Years Eve, one of the biggest drinking nights of the year. As long as he was being responsible, I guess I just don’t see the harm in throwing back a few.

Just curious. Can’t you drive?  If he hardly ever drinks & he wanted to drink & have fun were you not able to drive?
