Weddingbee boards

So I have had an iphone for just over 2 months and despite a few minor things really love it.  Yesterday I saw there was an update for the facebook app and I downloaded it.  I opened if ater the update and remembered I am supposed to restart my phone after doing updates.  So I did and it didnt turn back on.  Its done this a couple times before but always turned back on, this time it never did.  I keep pressing the power button, resetting, nothing.  The apple logo would show up and then disappear into a black screen.  So I didnt have my cell working all day.

I go home and have my DH call ATT and spend almost an hour on the phone with the Apple support guy.  He was very nice and helpful but there was nothing he could do.  Finally I resigned to the fact I had to plug my phone into itunes (never synched it when I got it) and restore it.  I lost everything because of the restore.  Contacts, text message, apps, pictures.  It was like the phone was brand new with nothing on it.  The worst part was the pictures.  I didnt have too many and thankfully a couple from the honeymoon I emailed myself but some I will never get back :( 

AND I was playing Diner Dash which I already had to restart after being almost 3/4 done about a month ago because of a bug in the app and now I lost all my progress again and was only 4 levels away from finishing.   Grrr...thanks for letting me vent.  And Iphone/Ipod touch users beware of the new FB update for the app.  DH has the update on his phone but wont download it now and I am too scared to try and put it back on my phone!
