I have been trying to keep my guests and family updated with wedding news by creating a webpage on the Knot. However, it’s been a nightmare ever since I made it! I tried to share the page and spent a good amount of time tediously adding all my friends’ and family’s e-mails and the link that was sent to them was bogus, even though I clicked on the “share my webpage option?!”. Then, I e-mailed all of them an apology with a link that was supposed to be directly to our personal webpage but that doesn’t work either. It brings you to a main forum page! The only way I can find it is by going to the community main page and searching our names, so frustrating! I called and spoke with a woman who was very rude and said that the Knot does not provide tech support for their free site. Making sure I knew it was FREE. Well, I would pay someone to fix it if I could just get it to function. I sent an e-mail to customer support asking for assistance and two weeks later, have not received a response 🙁
Okay, thanks for listening.

@BlondeBride090211: I had this same problem with our website 🙁 Fortunately not very many people are going to our website.
If it makes you feel any better, some days the link works, and others it doesnt…

I used wedshare.com for ours and I’ve been really pleased with them. They have a free version but I opted for an upgrade that allowed me to have a direct website instead of one hosted through wedshare. Here’s a link for ours if you want to take a look. http://www.danandvivi.com
I hope you get it worked out!

Not that I was stalking your page or anything.. Did I read that you are a Navy Petty Officer marrying a Navy Chief?

mywedding.com is good… or if you want something more personizable wix is a good free website host, but its not specified to weddings. 🙂

Ugh, I hear ya.
I used theknot for keeping track of everyone’s addresses, then after the wedding I asked them to PLEASE stop sending me spam emails. Well they did…and deactivated my account as well. So I’ve spent the last month emailing them, and hardly getting any responses. So frustrating.
Future brides…don’t use theknot!!!

@knavy87: I used to be a Petty Officer. I’m out now but he’s still active duty
