My FI got me a beautiful leather engraved journal, and we write in it together, documenting our journey as a married couple. Just an idea–I love it, and it’s nice that we can create something together.

Monogram bracelet with her new initials? Morganite/rose gold right hand ring?

Does she have any hobbies or interests that you could spin off of?

My husband got me concert tickets to my favorite artist as well as made a photo album of our life together thus far. He threw in some pink raybans as well since i had gotten him navy ones and our wedding colors were pink and navy. We have some great pictures wearing themm

sounds kind of random but all of the gifts were super thoughtful and I just knew he had put time into thinking about our wedding day and me.

Forget get about how much she spent in you and give her something heartfelt.

I think something with her new name would be very nice. Or something for the honeymoon! A new camera? A new dress to go out for a fancy dinner with you? Tickets to a show? Like you said – she already has so many things for the wedding. Something for the honeymoon might be unexpected so it would make for a good surprise.

yikes sorry. Have you googled same day engraving in the area where you live? What about a Pandora bracelet with charms? You can keep adding charms over the years

miguelv06:  Is she a wine-drinker? We aren’t doing gifts the day of the wedding, but my FI made the suggestion that on our honeymoon, we visit a local winery and get a case of good wine, then label each bottle with anniversaries (one to drink on the honeymoon itself and then 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, and 50), so that each time we reach a different milestone, we can enjoy some good wine and remember the day we first became husband and wife.

Obviously, I know about it before the wedding, but I think if my FI had chosen to surprise me the day of the wedding with the idea above (either by giving me wine our wedding day with a note explaining how the rest of the case will be used to mark our milestones or by simply writing me a letter detailing the entire plan the morning of the wedding so that I could look forward to going to a winery and selecting wine together), I would be incredibly touched by the gesture.
