@mtbikelover:  If you’re only having 1 flavor, I could easily eat 2 (I love cake).  More than 1 flavor means I’m eating 1 of each flavor.

I would only eat one regardless of the amount of flavours. If there were several flavours I might see if someone wanted to share but still only have one.

Most likely just one, since you only have one flavor. Or, if it was delicious, I would have the one and then maybe grab another one if there were leftovers when everyone got theirs. Just b/c I COULD sit and eat 3 cupcakes doesn’t mean I would at a wedding. That’s always been my dilemma at buffet/heavy app receptions…I can pack away some food, but I’m not going to pile up my plate or go back for 3rds with everyone watching!

Probably two, especially if they’re different flavors! I’d be satisfied with one, but if it looks like there’s enough for everyone and there are two different kinds to try, I’d go for two.

I might sneak by for a third towards the end of the night if they’re still sitting there… tempting me… but I definitely wouldn’t be like, “Damn, I only got two cupcakes!”

I would only take one unless there was a sign indicating there were plenty and to take more than one, then maybe two if it was a flavor that really appealed to me.

I would probably share one with someone. Doesn’t matter how many flavors are on offer.

What’s the one flavor?  And why only one?

@mtbikelover:  At a wedding, unless clearly obvious there are meant to be multiple for each guest, I would have one. Just like guests should only take one piece of cake. Most weddings that do cupcakes plan on one per guest unless mini cupcakes.

@mtbikelover:  I would probably have one and then see how many are left and sneak another one. I just love cupcakes and can’t resist lol.

I would get one at first, and if there was some left after that… two. I would want more, but I’m trying to be healthier.

@mtbikelover:  I would maybe have one.  If you did an interesting flavor, I would have more than one.  It would not be hard to make some different flavors…you could throw some chocolate chips into one, some pineapple into another, something like that.  It would jazz stuff up without making it too difficult for you.

ANother thing to consider…if you’re making them from scratch, how much do you think you’ll spend on the cupcakes?  Our cost for 100 cupcakes from the bakery is $180.  The supplies, time, and effort to make them at home would cost more than that.  We’re doing six different flavors, too!
