It's strange... I don't feel as excited to write this recap as I would have thought I would be... I think part of the problem is that my photog put the previews on FB, and they include lots of wonderful ones of us and our BP, but not really a lot of *events.* and who knows whether I will want to write anothe recap months from now when I get all the pictures back!
Anyhow, it was a gorgeous late October day, beautiful crisp blue sky and weather, at what I like to call the prettiest Catholic Church in Michigan.
I had actually written a specific thing in the program discouraging people from taking pictures during the ceremony (I HATE pictures with peoples iphones waving in the air and blocking the photographer!) and it seemed pretty succesful!

We had tons of fun driving around in our limo (non-pro pic)
and going to lots of places to get good pictures, like downtown of the coolest city in the world:
One of the BMs surprised us and made SIGNS that they all held up! (sorry Melanie, if you see this-- I doubt I'm supposed to edit it, but I did edit our names for privacy sake!) It was so cute!
they guys all got pocket watches from DH, which they were all very impressed by!

I think I already posted this somewhere, but here it is again.
The reception was super fun. (I'm sad I don't have more pictures from it yet!)
Here's our first dance. (Neither DH or I are dancers...we were totally like, "this is so awkward!" and looking at the DJ like, "when can this be over?")
We didn't cut the cake, but I still think our cake is pretty awesome... It's an organ, cuz both DH and I are church organists! (non-pro pic)
And we had a photobooth, which was a huge hit!
So now the happily ever after begins...
