- Wedding: September 2012
a couple weeks ago…….
It was SO fun and exactly what i wanted! There was only myself and my bridesmaids so five of us. They planned a wine tasting tour in Niagara On The Lake, and an overnight stay at Embassy Suites in Niagara Falls.
We all met up at the hotel, and checked in early. We made our way up to the 38th floor and were amazed by the view we had
So we unpacked our booze because we wanted to have some shots before we left…. In these awesome delicious candy cane shot glasses!!! made that booze go down way easier 🙂
We then went down to the lobby to meet up with our private SUV driver Paul(i think his name was lol)
Honestly…. it was totally awesome having someone drive us around, and carry our bags etc. This guy did a fantastic job and he was so nice!
So off we went to taste some wine
WE only did the sniff, swirl, sniff, drink at the first winery… after that it was like Meh! we just wanted to drink it lol.
So we hit up 6 wineries, bought lots of wine, and it was a gorgeous day to top it off!
We had dinner reservations at The Keg in the Hotel so we went back to the room and had a few shots more and a couple drinks before dinner.
Chicken n Ribs
Headed back to the room to drink and change … i had made the girls these painted redneck wine glasses and stuffed them with chocolate….
I then recieved my bag of goodies to wear out for the night…. There was so many options in it i just opted for this…. and i ended up having to wear a sweater that night anyway because it was kinda chilly (and yes a few pics down, i have a huge bruise on my leg from work lol)
So we hit up a local bar first where there was a great local band playing all our favourite tunes! Then after we walked along the falls to the Casino, then went and hit the hay!
The next day we made the short drive to Niagara On The Lake again just to walk around and enjoy the beauty of it, had lunch, went on a horse and buggy ride around the town with my sisters.
It was totally awesome 🙂
I didn’t get into any trouble haha.
