Ugh, I had to resign in November. My former boss went totally psycho and I was backed into a corner. It sucks not having something else lined up!! I’m still looking…. Undecided

So sorry to hear it!  Sometimes I dream of resigning, but I’ve never done it.  Good luck with your next job!!!

Best thing I ever did was resign…well actually I pretty much just quit. After a build up of multiple things there was a final moment where I just couldn’t do it anymore. Not only was I not being respected as a worker I wasn’t being respected as a person. Good for you for noticing when you needed to be done. Looking back now I wish I had handled things differently but I also wish I had resigned a year prior! Good Luck to you!!

My last job, the owners were awesome. When they sold it, I took the opportunity to quit. I hated one of the people I worked with so much (she stole, lied, and worked drunk) that she was making working miserable. I’ve had some amazing opportunities since that I would never have gotten working there. Sometimes quitting is the best thing you can do.

@mnp:  I resigned too in February was doing two jobs and the boss had unreasonable deadlines. It had been a deadend, seeing very few chances to move up within the company. It was a difficult transition at the beginning.  Almost having a burn out wasn’t better, I opted to leave. Now im back at school studying HR, understanding the problems at the workplace interests me. At least my so makes enough money enabled me to leave. The doors will open just take your time.

@mnp:  I am sorry you felt you needed to resign. I had to do that once because I had a boss that I just couldn’t stand. He was decent to the employees but his customer service approach was awful and I just couldn’t work with him anymore. I couldnt’ STAND him, like made my blood boil and I just had it. Quit and then found out 2 days later another employee quit because of him. Sometimes you just have to do what is best for you!

Wishing I had the nerve to resign at the moment. It’s been a rough couple months. Sorry you felt like you were forced into it. Good riddance to a bad situation however. Good luck with moving forward hopefully to better things!
