I guess I’m just a shameless addict.
As much as I meant everything I said at 3 am this morning, I just couldn’t stay away & I’m not going to be a “lurker”.
I’ll admit I jumped the gun. I’m not sorry for my post, but I’m sorry to the designers/mods/whoever else that it was post #476,324 on the same topic & that I didn’t just rant in another similar thread. I know it’s old by now. I’m willing to hang around & wait for positive changes, because I love this forum. We have good (& bad) conversations, diverse backgrounds, opinions & experiences, but we’re still here, sharing our suggestions & ideas & maybe even making (online) friends along the way.
Weddingbee is home in a way. It’s like kicking back with a bunch of old friends & BSing about any & everything. I like it here. Guess I’m not moving out yet. Plus it’s winter & no one likes moving in the winter.

Change is hard, for all of us! Glad to hear you’re sticking around.

Good to hear! I think all of the regular users were a bit overwhelmed/unhappy/confused at first. Initially I really disliked the new interface, but its not so bad once you get used to it 🙂

Of course you’re back. This is a great site. Also, the “Helpful” button is pretty similar to a like button, which you were calling for a month ago.

okqueenbee: I didn’t think I’d be able to get used to the new design, but it’s getting better now. And as they fix the problems hopefully it just keeps getting better! The only thing that really bothers me now is how slow the site is.

I just saw that they removed the photos appearing on the posts on the main board page, like people were complaing about. WB is a great community. I really think they’re listening and are going to make the changes people want that make sense. I really believe it’s gonna be even better in the end!

Yes change is definitely tough! But we should all stick together and it’ll all be okay! 🙂

Well thank god. I was genuinely concerned.

CanadianBride456: The slowness has definitely been annoying. I really hope they fix that.
As for the stark white background, I downloaded an app called Screen Filter that allows me to turn the brightness down lower than my phone would normally allow.

Mrs. Mouse: mrswestcoast: Thanks ladies! I’m determined to learn this new layout frontwards, backwards & sideways.
CanadianBride456: Yes, the lag time is annoying but maybe that will improve too..?
cls9q: I’m glad I could put your mind at ease.
countingstars: I think I’m going to see if I can change the color from white to black…
