My sister and I went to try on dresses today, and i ended up with 2 dresses that i absolutely love. But my sister likes 1 better than the other. So I showed my FI the pics, and he likes 1 dress, and it's not the one that my sister likes. And I LOVE both of them. Now i can't decide!
FI like the 1st dress, sister likes the 2nd dress.
And we're on a budget, so i'm gonna have to order it on Etsy, like some of the brides here!
Please let me know what do you think?

ahhh! that is a hard decision! both are absolutely beautiful... what is the feel of your reception going to be like?
#1 is my favorite, but they both have completely different feels to them. I guess it depends on what your overall look is going to be. Good luck deciding!

i LOVE that amsale dress!! if i hadn't already found the one, i would've gotten it. instead, i'm currently trying to find a custom dress maker to make me a shorter version for my reception dress.
anyway, my pic is #1!
then i think if you are going for the modern, chic vibe the first one (the one with the one shoulder strap) would be perfect! i think i would say go with the other one if you were going for a more whimsical vibe. i love the one with the strap though - it has a little unique quality to it and looks great on your figure
i think the 2nd one is a bit girly for me, but it has the purple sash which is my color sheme!!! it's hard to pick one.
I really love the dress with the flowers on the sash!

They are both beautiful! I agree with bloodgo, "modern, chic" seems to match the one-shoulder dress better, but both dresses would make you look great so it doesn't matter. A hard decision!
I love the strapless with the sash, that one just seemed to tie in all the elements well, as opposed to the one with the one shoulder strap, that seemed a bit off to me, which is strange since I generally LOVE one should strap dress. (I admit though, I usually like things that majority don't)
I think #2 is beautiful!!! I feel like the ribbon on #1 will take away from you its so big and that would be the first thing i would notice.
i agree with posters above...modern chic would definitely be the one shoulder. But I LOVE the second dress on you! Both looks awesome on you but pick the second one!! :-)

the one shoulder, bow dress is awesome as well though...and more "mordern" if that is your theme.
If you are going for more modern, then go for the dress with the bow.
PS, you may want to describe your poll better so you don't get bad results!
Ohh the first one! I tried it on when I was dress shopping and really liked it! It's Amsale, right? Or maybe Christos... In any case, it looks killer on you!
Dress one is much more flattering and just beautiful and I love the bow.
I love love LOVE the one with the purple sash. I'm not kidding, its amazing! If I hadn't seen them I would of told you to go with what your FI likes best. Since he's the one that you'll want to impress the most!
I don't think you can go wrong in either...they both look great on you. I lean towards the second one b/c it is more my style ( I love flowers on dresses and organza), but they are both beautiful! I would say just choose the one you feel the most beautiful in!
The one with the strap is much more flattering. The other is not flattering around the middle and makes you look very straight, not hourglass shaped at all. That said, I personally am not a big fan of the bow, but it does have that modern look you're going for.
You reversed the order of the dresses when you posted pics again. I love the one with the flowers!
They're both great on you, but I think your FI's vote should carry the most weight since you're his bride, not ours or your sister's. Good luck! You really can't go wrong either way.
@Caszos and Neele, I think I messed up when I post the pictures but i got denied, then i tried to post them again, they went straight to the attachment, now I want to remove the attachments but dont know how :(
and ... wow ... still such a mixed feeling on the two dresses!
In the first post my favorite is the first dress and in the later post it is the second dress. Basically I like the one with the flower the best.
