http://www.theperfectpalette.com/ is great for helping with a color palette! Try searching for black and see what comes up. They have some really amazing combinations.

Another thing: casual, semi-formal, formal?

How big of a guest list are you planning to have?

What kind of atmosphere are you going for? Trendy? Modern? Elegant? Traditional? Etc.

Things like that will help you decide on a venue, and then you’re almost there!

Everyone loves SOMETHING about summer.  Can’t you figure out what you love about summer and use that as a starting point.  I think of beaches, pick nicks, sitting out under the stars, camp fires and going to the lake as summer things.

I’m sure there are a hundred bees out there with better ideas then mine….

if you like black, have the bridesmaids where black dresses and then accent the theme with summer flowers or summer colors. any color will go with black. you say you dont like pink? How about yellow, light blue, red, or even an ivory or cream color…

OR maybe do red bridesmaid dresses with a black belt or sash?

Black is a pretty basic color that will accent with anything you choose.

THINK of it this way, what is your absolute favorite thing about summer?
maybe base your theme off of that?

Summer themes for weddings that I have seen or can think of.

RUSTIC BARN / OUTDOOR COUNTRY
BEACH
STARY NIGHT

but basically it comes down to the colors you want, and ultimately want, just put those colors togehter and go at it. What colors were your theme for the winter wedding?

@RobandLil0107:  Starry night sounds lovely. navy birdesmaids dresses would be beauitul with white or ivory bouquet (stars!). A white/ivory wedding dress with dark blue and white bouquet would be stunning.

Good luck with your change in plans!

Starry night would be a lovely romantic theme:

cake

multi striings of mini lights on the ceiling

   starry entry

hanging stars over the tables

 photo opportunity

place setting

escort cards- tables named after constellations
