Thanks everyone I am glad everyone loves the dress on me.
I am not in the military but I work for DoD as a federal employee so I have to deploy when they do. I am the only one in my family who didn't join but I ended up deploying more times than those in the service. FI was also a Marine.

I think it finally hit me when I called to order my dress 2 days ago. I am in Afghanistan and wont be back till the end of August so I figure why not order the dress and have it waiting for me when I get back. My dress search was really easy. I went to 2 stores and I knew what I wanted because I wanted all lace. I didn't think I will get the dress I ended up getting because even though I didn't have a budget, I couldn't see myself paying so much for a dress.
After trying on 4 dresses I knew this was the dress......So here she is! Monique lhuillier Scarlet.
