And two lines showed up!
(and then I did it all over again, just to make sure!)
You know what that means.
I am so shocked right now, I don't even know what to say or how to react. Hubby and I were talking about TTC, but were not planning on it for a couple months. I have been having a lot of health issues, and honestly thought I could not get pregnant because I hadn't gotten a period for a long time. We were being very lazy about contraception (basically NTNT) and so here we are!
I haven't even called my doctor yet. I guess that's the first thing to do!
We are very excited, and can't wait for what's ahead. Just thought I would share with all you ladies out there. :) yeeee!
Congratulations! Heehee, gotta love that you came to the 'Bee with the news before your doctor. :) We're so special!
@bunting: well i found out yesterday. I just called my Dr. and they referred me to two OBGYNs. I am not even sure what to do right now. Do I just call one of them and say "errrr.. I'm pregnant?"
@MissDareDevil: I have no idea, so sorry! That's probably what I'd do, and then maybe you can go visit both and talk to the doctors to see which you feel more comfortable with? I'm sure some of the ladies here will have some advice based on experience! Either way, how exciting!
@MissDareDevil: Yes! Call and let them know that you've tested and the test is positive. Do you have any friends in your area that highly recommend a certain OB/GYN? I told friends that I wanted to see another OB/GYN and asked who they recommended. This way I didn't give away my pregnancy status! Good luck
Congrats! Yes the best thing to do is contact either the doctor or OB and ask that you'd like to confirm that you pregnant since you already got a positive result at home and they should let you come in for some blood work to get the ball rolling!
Congratulations!! Yup - just call and say you are pregnant - at least that is what I did!
Congratulations!
Ugh its so hard choosing an OB... especially when there's more than one hospital/birthing center in the area. I hope you find a great one!
