@orchidaloha:  As someone who falls over all the time, I can assure you that his temper will get less sore as his butt (or knees or whatever he fell on) does. Things are funnier in hind-sight, especially when your behind doesn’t hurt anymore.

You probably just hurt is pride after it was already damaged. I would have laughed too. FI the other day like TOTALLY ate shit when he was getting off the bed, his foot got caught in the blankets and he fell hard. I’m pretty sure he was almost crying but he was more embarrased than anything else.

If I fell out in public and FI laughed at me I might be a little miffed too, simply because I would be more embarassed!

Just be a doting wife tonight and be extra sweet to him, he will get over it 🙂

I would have done the EXACT same thing!

I hope he feels better soon, though!

@orchidaloha:  omg, you are cute.  The wine part made me bust a gut.  I work at a school and sometimes I do a muffled laugh or smirk when it’s clearly inappropriate.  Sometimes kids and accidents are just funny!  You’re husband will be okay.  :).

That’s just a natural human reaction.  As long as your laughter pretty quickyl turned into concern, no you do not suck.  He might feel a bit embarrassed so he’s acting mad but he should get over it pretty quickly.

@orchidaloha:  Lol! I would have done the same damn thing, but I also know that I would be pretty pissed if FI laughed at me after I fell in public. Double standard I guess?

@orchidaloha:  A few weeks ago, I fell down a small set of stairs (like 4 steps) when walking with FI. He busted out laughing before asking if I was ok. I was like, “I almost died and you’re laughing!! You would have left me to rot!” I was reading OUT LOUD to him and didn’t see the steps. You could’ve warned me, babe!! I was not a happy camper. He made it up to me, though. My anger was shortlived.

O no! My husband’s gut/nervous reaction is to laugh at things like this. He tries so hard to make sure I’m okay first but the laughter always comes out.

@orchidaloha:  The same thing happen to me a few years ago with Fi.  He ate shit and I laughed and then ran away so he wouldn’t see me laughing.

We do suck, but falling is funny. He’ll get over it. Mine did.

Aw, sometimes this happens with me and fi. I’ll do something really silly, get hurt and he’ll find it hilarious.. until he realizes that I’m actually in pain. Then he quickly apologizes and tries to help.

I’m sure he’ll be okay and probably even think it’s funny once his ass doesn’t hurt anymore!

@orchidaloha:  I wish my FI could talk to your husband – I have laughed at him for falling sooo many times… I can’t help it! It’s funny!!
