@mrsedwardslpn:  I’m not sure what advice you’re looking for! If you don’t feel like you can handle a negative test result emotionally, then maybe just wait it out. Otherwise, test away! I’d have to test… I would want an answer as soon as possible!

I would test.  Don’t build it up in your mind as a great birthday surprise, which is what waiting to test on his birthday is.

Stop worrying about it, get off the internet, and test.

@mrsedwardslpn:  I would just test so you know either way.  BFNs are hard, butifeelnloke it is better than not knowing.

take a test in the morning. it’s more accurate in the morning, when you pee for the first time after being asleep all night.

@colorofmyheart:  My period was supposed to arrive on my birthday. Knowing that I love wine my husband wanted to plan a vineyard tour. But since you cannot drink if you are pregnant, I did not want him to plan anything until we knew for sure. He begged me to test early. On 9DPO I test and BFP. It was a great early birthday gift.

I guess what I am saying is: if you test now and get a BFP, you can plan a great birthday surpirse and can take the proper precautions while out celebrating. But if you get a BFN, while it will suck at least you know you can go all out while celebrating.

@odynsmom:  You got a positive that early? That’s impressive. I’m 6 DPO. Congratulations, by the way. 😀
