This is such a bummer, more so because I had the name before the new Bee. (I wonder why there was never a filter like there are on other sites)But in the end I guess it just doesn't matter...
"I'm sorry to inform you of this, but the username you chose on Weddingbee is a duplicate of one of our bees' names! Each of our blogging bees has a different identity on the site and we request that users do not create the same or similar names to our bees to avoid confusion. Here is a list of all the bees to avoid duplication:
We ask that you create a new username on Weddingbee. In order to do this with your current email address, go to your profile and edit the email address of your Mrs.Macaron username to anything. Then logout and create a new username with your actual email address. Once you've done that, let me know! We will be deactivating this account in seven days.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you for your cooperation!

So just wanted to say Goodbye to my screen name. Sniff. It was so cute....
Wonder what I should get now?! Any Ideas? :)

aww that stinks, but i guess it’s understandable?
umm… well without knowing you, i have absolutely no idea what to recommend!!

It is cute!! Maybe something else to do with macarons? Like a flavour?
oh that sucks! you had yours first! she should have to change! well, what do you like? any hobbies?

I don’t even see a Mrs.Macaron on that list! Are they doing a new cookies generation that I don’t know about? (If they are, they better not try to take my name.)
I think it’s part of the tea party generation.

I know! Who knows who’s safe once they feel theres a theme. It’s priority for them to keep Bloggers instead of ‘common’ Bees I guess?
@Miss Tattoo: Thought so too, but apparently ‘Blogger Bees’ can trump anyone out of our names.

I was thinking
Yeah, I saw that when I was trying to get answers as to why they were doing this to me. That’s the reason, and it really stinks!
What if theres a Bee with MrsBMW or something and they decide to do a Car Generation?! … Geez. Names should be permanent once picked out. AOL/Google and even smaller sites don’t even do this!
Shame on me for getting so attached!
Anyway, seems like theres nothing I can do, but change it.

@Mrs.Macaron:Aw, that stinks! Sorry you have to change!
@Gingersnap:It is part of the new tea party generation… No Gingersnap! You’re safe :o)

@Mrs.Macaron: FWIW I think it’s super lame and posted my two cents on your support complaint. It seems like they’re pulling rank, which I think is incredibly unfair. Makes you wonder what could happen to ANY of our names that have Miss Mrs or Ms in them.
Party foul WB. Party. Foul.
Yea this seems like it’d be easier for them to just eliminate Mrs.Macaron from their generation rather than force a member to change her name.

Totally, and Thank You 🙂 It’s appreciated.
*All the names I do like, I’m afraid they’ll be called out in the future and I just dislike numbers by it so that’s out.
As Pooh ponder’s “Think, Think, Think”…
There’s nothing I love more than Macarons! Oh how they were the thrill and joy of my life.
Ok, thought of my dear Husband. Love him to atoms!
Something French/English or Polish would work, but what exactly….Hmm

“So we realized we have to make it even more clear when a Bee is commenting. At first we were going to put some color trim around comments from the Bees, but then BilBee came up with the idea of using the Bee icons next to comments.
I almost forgot that we actually launched Bee icons to prevent Bee impersonations! With avatars on the site, that protection is no longer in place… so just to be on the safe side, we added a discreet dotted green border around Bee icons.” End Quote
By Mrs Bee
So this was already taken care of. Sooo many ‘non’ offically official Bee’s have Ms, Miss and Mrs in their names.
What happens if theres another Food or Season/Clothing/Flower/Object compilation and a Bee already has the name?

Mrs.Macaron, to the best of my knowledge, this is a very long-standing policy and the message you got is sent to anyone whose name on the boards conflicts directly with a blogger icon name. The editors do their very best not to create blogging icons that are already “taken” on the boards, but not every single one can be avoided. In other words, you are not being singled out, it’s just a boards/blog policy.

This is ridiculous , you should be able to keep your name – and if I had a Mrs,Ms name I would be paranoid now !
