I'm 4 weeks along!
Total surprise. We weren't TTC and we weren't planning on kids for another fews years. I started to feel strange right away. Nausea, bloating, cramping, dore breasts, etc. I took one test and BFN, I waited 2 more days and took another and there was a faint BFP. I took another last night and there was a big bright BFP! So, it's official. I'm calling my doctor today to go in for a blood test. From what I can figure, my due date is going to be around March 28th, 2012.
The thing is... I got pregnant almost exactly 2 weeks after FIL died. I wouldn't be surprised if this baby is a boy, to be honest. I think it was fate.

I think we are having a boy, too. I had a weird dream about 2 weeks before we found out that makes me think so. haha.
@zippylef: Yay Congrats! I think we are having a boy too. My Great Great Aunt looked at me and told my dad that she thinks I am pregnant and that she bets it is a boy.
Oh, I am soooo happy for you!!!! I would be thinking boy also! Congrat Lady! And to the Mr. Also.
That's wonderful - congratulations!! And my sympathies on your FIL's passing.
@His Barista: @trugem: Haha. Yeah. It's just the close proximity of DH's dad passing away and my getting pregnant unexpectedly that makes me think it.
Thanks guys! I think I've just gotten to the point of letting myself be excited. At first, I flipped out. I still haven't told DH, since I want to tell him in person, but I will be seeing him Thursday so.... gah! Part of me is terrified to see his reaction, but the other part knows him well enough to know that he'll end up happy about it.

Ah, I just saw that he doesn't know yet! Luckily 9 months of pregnancy allows you to get through all the emotions and plan, ect. Best of luck to both of you : )

@zippylef: congrats!!! A big part of me thinks that people like you are the luckiest because you're relieved of having to "decide" when and just let fate smack you upside the head(belly) hehe. I'm sure your husband will be super excited!!!!
@CorgiTales: That' a good way to look at it. I know that DH and I wold have waffled for YEARS if this wouldn't have happened.
