Ouch about the other party.   I’m sure your SO felt your pain.   If not on Christmas eve/Christmas maybe hold out for NYE/ New Years.  Crossing fingers for you.

@Fleur.De.Lis:  I knew my ring was in the house. I called him out on it (which many said was mean but whatever. LOL) AND he then texted my best friend that I knew it was in the house. She wigged out & called him and told him to get his a$$ in gear. I got a proposal 4 days later. LOL. Of course, I found out this whole story after we got engaged.

You ever wonder why men wait so long to propose (so long = days lol) when the ring is in the house? If I were a guy, I know I wouldn’t be able to wait! Just get it done!

@Fleur.De.Lis:  Hang in there, Bee! A NYE proposal would be amazing too! There’s something very special about taking the next step and starting a fresh year. 🙂

@TaurianDoll:  That was my thought too! Just do it, man! What is the problem?!? LOL

@Fleur.De.Lis:  He might be pretending he doesnt know much about dinner. I was sure it was going to be a certain time, by FI didnt seem to be so sure of what we were doing so i figured no way. Voila! It happened. He might have been pretending to be aloof about that nights plans to throw me off.

edit: oh whoops– i should have checked the thread before i posted!
