@The messy bride: Not sure. There doesn't seem to be an original post (above mine).. or at least, not showing up for me.
weird... I see "1" and "2"
but anyhow, yeah, I love tea-length dresses, and was totally going to go with them, but then FI wanted really formal tuxes, and we decided that we needed long dresses to go with them. But it turned out great!
ETA: and 3. That makes me 4.
@joy2011: Oh I meant the post count on the board site, when you click on the thread.
I was also going to go with a tea-length, but same situation..FI wanted something more formal. He's somewhat particular about having a wedding that is definitely wedding-y.

Tea length dresses are so cute, especially since they show your shoes! I considered one for the reception, but fell in love with a floor length---that I had to keep pulling up to show off my shoes, I might add.
I indeed want to showcase my shoes... I have my eyes on a pair of blue peep toe heels that are absolutely amazing!
I almost went tea leanth. It wouldnt be a tea leanth thread without this one:

I love tea length! I wish they had come out with this one from DB BEFORE I got married.

That is a lovely picture, I like tealength dresses as well, unfortunately it doesn't fit my body type. But I do like how they look. Awesome! :D
Seriously, now that this thread came up I keep looking up tea length dresses.... I already have my heart set on the dress I'm making, but these other ones are so cute and tempting! Maybe for another formal occasion... I need one!
what is your body type? or on what kind of silhouette would it not look that great?
They're so romantic. My Mother was married in a tea length dress that I still have. A classic that just screams elegance.
I am having a ball gown turned into a tea length gown for my reception! Want my feet free for dancing!!
I love tea length!!! I almost wish I'd gone for one...or might get one for my reception dress
I wore a tea length dress for my wedding and LOVED IT! dont regret it one bit! I say got for it! and the dress you posted is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!
