My wedding is six days away. And I am so indecisive that I drive myself absolutely CRAZY to the point of tears (yes, I’ve reached that point by now, haha). I’ve struggled for months trying to figure out what to do with my hair. After months of going back-and-forth in my head, I decided I wanted it up (so it doesnt take away from the dress – I have hair down to the middle of my back), but I wanted it up in a way that you can see it from the front as well. After having it done and wearing it all day yesterday, now I wonder if I want it down/half-up-half-down or if this style is truly what I was looking for.
With my make-up, I think that it turned out lovely and told her everything looked great. But now I’m thinking that more of a brown-shade instead of gray shadow would look better and I would love for her to use gel liner instead of pencil on the top lids (I don’t even think Aveda has gel eyeliner so I wonder if she would use mine if I brought it). I also feel like I need some bronzer or something too…
No time or money for retrials – just wish that I would think/realize these things right away, but I feel like I need to have some “time” with my hair and makeup in order to figure out what needs to be done differently.
Please forgive my awkward face/half crossed-eyes in the makeup pic – yikes! LOL … also, in the hair pic, there is a section that came loose and needs to be pinned back up.
Am I crazy?!?! Anyone else out there like me? Anyone else decide the day of their wedding to do something completely different with their hair?

@alicroo86: I think both your hair and makeup are lovely!

@alicroo86: your hair looks stunning, as does your face. I would recommend a little more color on your cheeks tho, and maybe a warmer or deeper lip color, as you might look washed out in any flash photography.

Love the soft curls of your hair. As for the makeup it might be a little too soft especially under the strong photogrpaher’s flash. You might want to go a bit heavier with the blush/contouring and the lips.

The hair is fantastic!! If anything, possibly just have them pull a couple pieces out around your face and curl them, but I think it’s great how it is.
The makeup is a LITTLE boring (for me haha) but it certainly doesn’t look BAD! You’re beautiful and really, everyone is going to be commenting on how amazing you look and how radiant you are in your dress, no one will notice/care if your eyeshadow is a little more gray or a little more brown. But if it would make you happier then ask them to do it a little different day of! Eye makeup can always be taken back off and redone, maybe just give yourself an extra 10-15 minutes.

@alicroo86: I’m getting married the day after you! I’m going to ask for a different hair do than I did for my trial. Hope it comes out ok!! I’m doing my own makeup and I think I’ve got it figured out.
I think you look beautiful, but I agree I’d like more of the browns than gray as well. We are so close and it will all come together beautifully!

I love the back of you hair. I think the front needs some volume, though. You’re makeup is really pretty for everyday wear but I think you need a bolder eye and cheek and some color on your lips.

Makeup looks perfect… don’t change a thing– you’re beautiful!!!!!!!! 😀
Hair: the back is gorgeous- but I see what you mean by wanting it to also look done-up in the front… what if you had just a few curls down to the side so the back is still free (this is what I did… because I had a lace back that I wanted to keep visible [our hair style is very similar and it seems that it would be very easy for your hairdresser to modify it] ):

I think the make up looks gorgeous! I love the hair too 🙂

I personally think you’re crazy! You look gorgeous. Your hair is awesome and I love the look, very bridal. Your makeup is lovely, very natural looking. Only change I would make (in my opinion) is to go heavier on the eye makeup. But this is a personal choice and I do think you look great. Stop fretting, you will look gorgeous.

Thank you all SO MUCH. This makes me feel sooo much better – I’ve been lacking sleep and feel like it’s making me nuts! I’ll take the advice to go a little heavier on the make up and may choose a little more color for my lips as well. I think I’ll leave my hair as it is and see if she can add a little more volume to the sides and see if it would look good with a couple loose pieces around my face.
