I have been all over the place shopping for dresses. Dress overload! The first few outings, I just didn't know what I wanted. I tried on all sorts of different silhouettes, facribs, etc. I was so confused. But the last two outings have been more productive, because I finally realized what I want. Satin, slim/fitted fit, ruching/pleating, elegant. Something classic, but with a modern touch. My ceremony is outside (at 5pm) in a garden, then the reception is indoors in a classy banquet hall.
So I've narrowed it down to four dresses. I like all of these dresses for different reasons. I've never gotten the "it's the one" feeling, but I didn't really think I would. Anyways, I'd like your opinion: which dress do YOU like the best?
First up, La Sposa Fanal. I actually didn't like this dress much when I tried it on (thought it was too plain) but when I went back and looked at photos, I really liked it. This was the dress that made me realize I liked a more fitted silhouette.
Next, Casablanca 2037. I like the uniqueness of the pleating:

Similar in silhouette is Essence of Australia D695.

Lastly is Maggie Sottero's Dayle (J1332). They only had it in the light gold color, while I think I would prefer ivory. Couldn't decide if I liked it with the one-shoulder strap or with a belt:

I think I'm having a hard time because they are all lovely! I am just too indecisive. Please help, send me all of your advice and opinions!!
I love all of them but my vote is the Essence of Australia. I like how it's not too simple, but not too overdone either. They're all lovely choices - I can see how it's hard to decide. :)
I love number 2. Looks more expensive than the 3rd one and hugs you in all the right places.
I think the first one, the La Sposa, is just breathtaking. I actually said wow and I rarely do that. It just fits you so perfectly and it definitely characterizes all the things you said you wanted. I just love the shape of the bottom too.
I picked the first one because it exudes classic beauty... sort of old hollywood-ish, which I'm partial to.
The first one is my favorite on you. Isn't there one that you don't want to take off more then the other ones? Maybe keep looking the go back to those again.
i like number 2 and 3 on you. Also, you could add a belt to #2 to help define waist and add and etra umph. good luck!
I voted for the last one -- with the shoulder strap. It's goooorgeous.
And, you seriously have like THE best arms in the history of arms. Very well defined/muscular but still very feminine. I don't want to sound stalker-ish but really, lady! Great shoulders and arms... I think the strap adds femininity while calling attention to them.
I feel like a guy...I can hardly tell the difference between any of them.
I'm having a hard time choosing between the La Sposa and the Maggie - aack! I'm no help : ) You look amazing!
Okay, La Sposa it is for me.
I think the Casablanca one really defines your waist and I like the ruching on that one the best.
I love the 2nd pic, the Casablanca 2037! It is absolutely stunning on you!
The casablanca is absolutely stunning on you! Not to mention the uniqueness of the dress itself.
I picked no. 2 because the way it fits you is just gorgeous, but I also really like no. 3!
I had a hard time deciding between the La Sposa and the Casablanca...I made myself choose one and I chose the Casablanca. Either one looks wonderful on you (they all look great)!
I also vote for the Casablanca. It does such nice things for your figure, where the others are nice... I feel that you're just showcasing the dress, but with the Casablance it's showcasing YOU.
I love the fanal on you and the Casablanca is an extrememly close 2nd.
You are very pretty :) I love the first two on you. The first one is very old hollywood glam/sex goddess and the Casablanca makes you look so tall and slim. Such a hard decision that I can't decide either so I can't vote :( I will say I don't like the last one at all.
When I saw you in the Casablanca I actually said "Woah!" out loud. (In a good way.)

I tried on the Casablanca myself and really liked it, so I'm partial to that dress. I think either that one or the La Sposa dress are best. I just don't like the Essense of Australia dress for some reason and the Dayle overwhelms your figure a bit.
BUT, as someone who has also done dress polls here, keep in mind that we've all been obsessing over the details of dresses whereas that will probably not be true of your guests. That is, we are talking about minor differences between dresses that won't be perceptible to most people. If there is one you really love, go with that one!
The casablanca makes you look INCREDIBLE. I also think that it's the most visually interesting.
I'm in the vast minority here but I love the final one . . . in that color . . . with the shoulder strap. It is GORGEOUS.
The Casablanca looks perfect for you - and I love the unique detailing of the pleats!
I really like the last one with the shoulder strap. While they all look beautiful on you because you have a great figure, I was sort of waiting to be wow-ed as I went through the pictures and when I saw the very last one, it happened. Oh my goodness, it is stunning with the shoulder strap....it's amazing the difference once you change the belt to the strap!
