EEEEEK! Exciting! Did you help with the ring? Or is it a complete surprise?
I'm in the EXCACT same boat. My ring has been made and is now on the way! We had kind of discussed a before New Years timeline, so now, I am driving myself CRAZY waiting!
I love that you took advantage of that situation. I didn't have the balls to do so a few weeks ago when I had the chance. ;)
Can't wait to hear what happens!
It's mostly a surprise. We'd gone ring shopping together and both agreed on a blue sapphire instead of a diamond, white gold, and nothing bulky. Then I got a bit overwhelmed with indecisiveness and put the ball entirely in his court.
I hope he doesn't tell me/I don't find out when the ring is ready. That would really drive me nuts! I can't imagine how you're going to keep your sanity for weeks knowing it's in his hands and ready to go!
Yeah, that it a tease alright. At least he didn't say more when he was drunk. That is always a risk. Hopefully it is sooner than later though.

I am having the EXACT same thing, he is completely toying with my head, A few months ago he told me (i have been on a diet gained a few since august when he picked out the ring) the ring is coming sooner than you think and i am inbetween sizes im between a 6.25-6.50, and can be a 7 my fingers get swollen alot. so he said this and with that, its now dec. still no ring, and NOW he gives no hints just says Not saying a word, I know its paid off, what the F?? its so annoying now to be waiting and every special event we do I think Its gnna happen, next week we are going to see the tree inNYC, and im thinking again its the day. Whatever, so annoying

I tried to get more info on my ring last night, he was pretty well into his cups, but when I walked past his office I heard him talking to our gaming group online (group voice chat) and he was going on about how much he LOoooOOVEees me, and how lucky he is, I'm his bestest friend ever AND for some reason I want to be his wife...
I so just about cried, I know it wasn't for my ears, but hearing him stay that to like 10 of our guy buddies was the best feeling ever! I so love my drunken guy- well, hungover now lmao!

@butterflies77: I dont know how you hold it together, just knowing the ring is there must be crazy hard. I've read from other bees that all the build up of not knowing makes the big moment better, and all the stress gets forgotten fast. I dont know if its true, but try and stay positive! He got it, so you know its coming- he just needs to do it already! I hope you get some shiny under the tree!

The ring is being made. I know that much. Otherwise, I know nothing.
It's impossible not to obsess over this, I know it's coming, and I'm so goshdarn excited.
And my SO is messing with my head!
I knew from before the ring was even getting made that he wanted to propose before Christmas. Then the other day he tells me well the ring might not be ready by Christmas or by New Years, and once I have it I'll need a few weeks to figure out how to propose.
Fffuuuu are you kidding me I can't wait that long!
Then last night I took advantage of his inebriated state (my bad!) to ask when it's going to happen. What does he tell me? "Sooner than you think".
I'm so happy to hear "sooner" but boy all this teasing is messing with me!
