And the award goes to JLo. Whata you all think? Personally I disliked alot of her acting,however, she did do some good films, that I thouroughly enjoyed. Her music was always just ok, to me, but I did always find her gorgeous. Is she the most gorgeous woman alive? Maybe, maybe not, but to me, she has always been one of the most beautiful ladies in hollywood!
Most gorgeous woman alive? HELL NO. She is gorgeous, but not the absolute be-all-end-all of beauty.
My pick? Olivia Wilde.
I think she's beautiful. As long as they aren't saying she is the most beautiful woman ever, then I'm okay with them picking her to wear the crown this year.
I never agree with the people they choose. Then again I never care. Hah.

These things are always ridiculous, IMO. I have seen the most beautiful women alive walking down the street.
I think she is absolutely, remarkably beautiful. But her "music" career has always pissed me off. But still, beautiful!

though jlo is beautiful...i can think of others that are MORE beautiful.

Its always "The Most Beautiful People with Something to Promote this Year" award. I think she's gorgeous but I highly doubt the most beautiful person in the world is even famous.
I agree, they are super silly, I mean how can one woman be crowned that. But its also just for fun I think, so as a mother of twins, and hittin her 40's (or in them, not sure) must be nice to hear a title like that. Bet it made Jlo's year!
Jennifer Lopez is gorgeous now, but if you look at her photos from her In Living Color days, she wasn't even pretty then. A big credit goes to her hair and makeup team for the transformation. She may have also surgically tweaked her nose a little.
I do find her quite stunning. One of those poeple that you just want to stare at their face (as weird as that sounds). Is she the be all end all alive today, maybe not, but I guess they "have" to pick somebody.
She is beautiful! I wouldn't say she is the most beautiful because there are so many beautiful people. My husband said that I am the most beautiful woman ever. lol

I think beauty was a term ( I could definitely be wrong) to define the person as a whole, not just a face. At the risk of sounding cliche, beauty is from within, so in order to be a beautiful person, you'd need a heck of alot more than just a pretty face.
I think she's beautiful. So, whether the most beautiful or not, good for her!
I think choosing the most beautiful woman alive is completey impossible, but I have found myself saying many times while watching AI this season that J Lo is perhaps the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I think she's stunning and just naturally gorgeous.

Maybe it's because she's a terrible actress and not really that good of a singer, but I've always hated her...I can't see her as beautiful because I'm too busy being annoyed by her pretending to just be "Jenny from the Block."
And she probably has taco-flavored kisses.
Hm...I think she's pretty, but DEFINITELY not the most beautiful person alive.
P.s. I don't get the whole Olivia Wilde thing? I think she's an uglier version of Kiera Knightly..
People magazine only chooses the "Most Beautiful Women" from a small group of women who were big in the media that year. Jennifer Lopez is on American Idol as a judge this year, thus has gotten more exposure than she has in the past few years, and was chosen as Most Beautiful Woman. Same goes for the men. There are PLENTY of prettier celebrities, but People tends to focus on the pretty ones who were ALSO in lots of inches of newsprint that year.

Honestly I was more interested in the jelly bean found that looks like Kate Middleton than "the most beautiful people award"...

Megan Fox is the work of a plastic surgeon. And not even a subtle one. Just sayin'...
She was beautiful before. And approachable. Now she's scary. :(

I think that Jessica Alba should be near the top, if not the prettiest! I think she is gorrrrgeous.
I half agree. I think Megan Fox is pretty hot too. Pre and Post Surgery. And I agree that she probably knows it. But to me, theres nothing wrong with that. Confidence is so important, and if Icould change anything about myself, thats what it would be, to have confidence in who I am, and the way I look.
Oh and jessica Alba, yes she is gorgeous!

I think JA is so pretty AND she seems to have a level head about it! She doesn't use her body to detract from bad acting..she's such a good actor on top of being pretty!
