I need help here ladies.
Let me start off by saying I am not a flower type of girl and will never be.
I have gotten most of my vendors from family and friend referals.
I did not want to spend a ton of $$$ on flowers because lets be honest the things are going to die and get thrown away afterwards.
I met with a florist who my good friend recommended and she is nice. I have meet with a few florist and let me tell you they spend about 2 hours talking about types an colors of flowers and so son.
The lady sent me a quote which is way over what I wanted to spend.
She quoted me $1450 for a glass vases or $2500 for the idea I had in my head. Her quote is too long for me to post on here. She will be providing flowers for the cermony, reception and all folks that are in the wedding party.
So my question is what is the range people pay for flowers for a wedding.

Depends on how many of each, like bouquets, bouts and table centerpieces.
Our bouquets were $75. each and the bride’s was $125., bouts were $15. each and corsages were $25. each.
That’s all we got for one wedding, as we didn’t do floral centerpieces, and got one large spray for the gazebo that was used for the head table afterwards. One large bouquet for the guest book/escort card table, so our total was just $600.
When we did estimates with a few florists, I found out pretty quickly to NOT give them the budget number. Somehow, 2 of them magically came in just about $2. u nder that.
Do you have pictures to take with you of things you like? Did you ask what’s in season during your wedding? There’s always ways to get it done cheaper.

Look for wholesale florist online in your area, we met with two of those and there was still a difference. We got 14 centerpieces, 10 small bouquets for the aisle, 2 floral displays for the church, 8 bouquets for bridesmaids and a bridal bouquet for 1,150. Wholesalers usually will work within your budget but tell them how much you were thinking after they give you your price. Also go in with a few flowers in mind. Good luck!

@ItWasntMe: I did not tell her my budget either because I also learned not to share that info because they try to be short by $5 like they were giving you a discount. I told her flat out I just wantd purple flowers and they had to be in season but I do not want to pay $$$ to import them from cost rica or some crazy place. I am going to reach out to my friend that sent me to her because she quoted her way less then what she gave me.
I feel bad but I was willing to spend the extra $$ on the photographer becaue I would have those pictures forever.
