Yet again, I’m enlisting the help of my fellow “bees”! I am a traditional bride who loves a special flare to things. I’ve definitely decided NOT to go with a traditional white/ivory shoe for my wedding, but I’m torn between which color to actually choose! My bridesmaid dresses are going to be a beautiful yellow and I’ll have a pink portion of my sister’s dress wrapped around my flowers. (She recently passed away in a tragic accident). I’m torn between royal blue or a bright bold pink?? What do you guys think?? Here is a picture of sample shoes in the colors I’m talking about.

I’m very, very sorry about your sister. Your incorporating her dress fabric into your bouquet is a beautiful way to have her there with you.
I voted for hot pink because it’ll match the fabric on your bouquet.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful way to incorporate her into your wedding!
I would say one of the pinks, they are feminine and fun and if it is close to the fabric around your bouquet I think it would be fabulous! Plus, I think with yellow bridesmaids dresses and pink around your flowers, its best not to add another bright color like the royal blue. I love the idea though, and congratulations!!

I am doing the EXACT same thing with the hot pink shoes. I will have shades of pink in my bouquet and the FI wanted to wear hot pink suspenders under his jacket (crazy thing is HE suggested it).

First of all, I’m so sorry that your sister died recently. 🙁 I can’t imagine a more challenging time to deal with a loss. I hope that you have lots of love and support around you.
And in regards to color–I’d vote for either pink…I think it’s wonderful that you’re incorporating your sister into your wedding through the use of pink, and besides looking nice, I think the pink shoes would be an extra way to reemphasize her presence, even if it isn’t physical.
