I don’t have any suggestions, but I totally feel you. I knew I wanted the freedom to do whatever I wanted, but if you have vendors with a lot of experience, they’ll be able to work with the church rules.

A lot of those are pretty standard – while there are certainly churches without those  rules, but a lot have them.

 If you got a strapless gown, you could have a pretty bolero jacket made, like these to wear during the ceremony!

alot of those rules are "normal" for churches – i mean it IS a house of worship

what about the St. Regis in Monarch Beach?

and there’s always the Ritz in Laguna…

I had the same reaction when I got the planning booklet from the church my fiance really really wants us to be married in…and have had a few minor frustration fests. Right now I’m trying to chill out and let him deal with the minister and the church’s demands.
