I know blurb.com has been a great professional type book place. I have a friend sho's a photographer who plans to print his book (portfolio) from them, and he's not the type to go to a low quality place. Plus from what I have seen their prices are great.
If you're just looking to print pictures I would highly suggest mpix.com. They are a high quality professionl printer with outstanding prices!
HTH a little!
I believe HTH means hope this/that helps. I met with my photographer last weekend - most of her clients print their pictures off themselves. She recommended mpix.com also. So I guess I'll second that, even though I haven't worked with them yet..
I believe there is an old thread out there debating the pros and cons of the professional picture books specifically. You can probably search for it if that's more your question.
I created about 20 pages of my album with three different sites. Blurb. MyPublisher. Shutterfly. For multiple reasons I liked Shutterfly best and actually completed that album - I love it and the quality is good.
I felt MyPublisher was too restricting with it's layout options - so that's why I didn't like that. I was really frustrated.
I had started with Blurb and liked it - but then read some discouraging comments about the quality - so started looking at the others. I've also read a ton of great comments about Blurb. So I wanted to go back and finish that book and print it also - just so I could compare on my own - but that hasn't happened yet.
I feel Blurb had the most options when it comes to colors/borders/layouts etc. But it's almost decision overload - so it might not be a pro :)
All the sites offer different size books too - so if you're set on a specigic size (sqaure vs rectangle etc) that might be a deciding factor.
I think Blurb may be the cheapest option? You can usually find Shutterfly coupons online though. I just ordered another copy of my book which was the largest one and had 60 pages. Original cost was around $112 - but with the coupons I found online I saved $56!!
I feel like you will get a great looking book with any of the companies. It won't look like a $1000 professional album - but it will be a classy professional looking coffee table book :)
Have fun! I LOVE looking though ours and reliving the day :) :)

I know there has been discussion about this by the Weddingbee ladies and on the boards, but with so many websites that develop pictures and others where you can make your own albums, etc - in your opinion which is the best quality?? I've used snapfish and shutterfly to develop pictures and they are ok, which one does everyone else recommend? Which album websites produce the most professional albums? Thanks for the input!
