I really really like weddingwire. I tried wedorama but found it very clunky, and I've got a lot of computer experience.
I give two big thumbs up for Wedding Wire. I didn't design our website (my fiance did) but it seemed fairly easy. The layout is pretty nice and professional looking, you get a simple url to give to your guests, and they also give you a ton of space -- we have oodles of information, hyperlinks, pictures. It's also easy to customize and add the pages you want, get rid of those you don't. It's free, too!
Highly recommended.
Does wedding wire give you your own website name? Or do people have to go on the site and search for us?
I am on wedding wire right now and it's not allowing me to choose the name like other websites have...
You can choose your name, but it has to start with www.weddingwire.com/yournamehere. Another good thing is you can change the site's name any time you want, so if you don't like what you pick at first, you can edit it. I think it's under the "Settings and Security" tab on the left when you're on the "Manage pages" page.
mywedding.com is really easy to use and it's great for managing online RSVP's! they let you choose the website name.
I looked at a few and decided on WeddingWindow - its super easy to use, but mostly I just liked the layout and the look of it. You can get your own address (www.JaneandJoe.com) for an extra $15 if it is available. I used WeddingWire for my seating arrangements and I thought their interface was a bit clunky.
I used weddingwire.com and really like it. The website is so easy to set up and easy to personalize with the info that you want on it. I loved the RSVP tool that automatically updated my guestlist when they responded. Here is ours to give you an idea of what it looks like:

I have really enjoyed using Wedding Wire and have no complaints so far.
I did a little comparison on several wedding websites on my blog. I choose to use mywedding.com, but maybe my post can help you.
i didn't like wedorama either. but i really like wedshare :) way more designs to choose from and way more user-friendly. we were able to get our own domain too (so it wasn't like www.wedshare/name-and-name)...it was just www.groom'sname-and-myname.

Hi there,
I just decided that I wanted to set up a wedding website where our guests can come to RSVP and read about any updates regarding the wedding and to read about US~
There are so many out there...
I am not so savvy with the computers, so which website would you recommend that is free, pretty, and easy to access and use??
Thanks for your help!!
