    And that totally weirds me out! He is 15!

    Anyone else have younger siblings and find it odd when they date? Just in general, not necessarily to a wedding. Lol.

    Note: This is not my long-haired brother, he is 17. Not sure on his date status yet, unless @eloping is going to send her niece over. Lol.

    It still weirds me out that my little brother (35 and 6'4") is married, I love his wife and all, but still it just...well..weird.  I still see him as the little kid making porky pig faces and snorting at me.

    @tksjewelry:  I can see that being me. I also still balk at the fact that he is taller than me and has facial hair...I always go, "You look like a man! NO!" and he laughs at me, hugs me, and tells me it'll be okay. haha.

    Not my little sibling, but I have a little cousin (6 years younger) who I grew up 2 streets from so we were almost like siblings. He is in high school, and dates girls, and is all over FB and it is just so weird! I remember when he was born! He got a date to homecoming and made her a mum (Texas HS football thing), it was crazy!!

    I've offered  (threatened) to chaperone on my little brother's dates, he's in his early teens...for some reason he always turns me down...hmmm I can't believe my parents actually LET him date! when I was his age I had to jump through hoops to do some of the things he does! GAH!

    Well my siblings are 37 and 35...I'm 23 so I guess it's probably weird for them. lol

    What's weird for me is the fact that my nephew is 16, has a job, a car and a girlfriend. Now that freaks me out.

    @Overjoyed060113:  Lol, I feel like you're my little sister in the future. She is a lot younger than the rest of us (she's about to be 8) and FI and I plan on having kids in the next couple of years.

    Also, we don't say c-a-r in regards to them. :/ They are babies. Lol jk. Overprotective sister much?

    @Mrs.Lonestar:  My MOH went on a double date with her little brother tonight! Granted, he is 19 and she is 22, but she was texting me about how old she felt compared to his gf. haha. And AMEN! My parents stalked me on a date to the mall when I was 15! Lol.

    @chasesgirl:  So weird! Seeing all the little girls' posts on his FB wall creep me out. All the "TBH you're so cayute and funny, we should hang." <-- What?! He is not going to hang out with you unless I approve! RAWR! Lol just kidding.......kinda.

    @eloping:  I told him that and he said, and I quote, "When and where? Is she cute?" Lol. Ladies man he is not. But he's frickin' adorable! Yeah, this is the BABY baby brother. :( *tear* I used to babysit his annoying butt when he was a holy terror! Now he has facial hair and a learner's permit, and is in high school...and dating. *le sigh*

    @mkathleenwhite:  Oh gosh! That would weird me out too. I can't imagine how I'll feel when my kids date!

    @AmeliaBedelia:  I know, I'm just waiting for her Dad to get home, I think his head may actually explode at the thought of his little girl having a date.

    haha and yes she is super cute - thank god she takes after her mother (meaning not my side of the family)  both in looks and personality!

    i remember my nephews 1st gf and she was HOT, then his next serious GF (now his wife) had both his mom and i shaking our heads going what the heck - she was going through her goth emo phase at the time but shes a wonderful person so goes to show we couldnt pick the right one

    @eloping:  I think we're great matchmakers. Even from separate countries we still are going to influence future really pretty babies. We win.

    Hm, I guess that means I should be nice to her. She *could* be my FSIL. <-- That made it all even weirder. She seems really nice though, and I am shocked. Lol.

    @mkathleenwhite:  Yikes! I can't even imagine.

    @AmeliaBedelia:
    I also forgot to mention it's weird seeing my FI little sis date. She's 16 as well but looks  physically mature enough to be one of my friends(super frightening)
    I can't tell you the number of times I've had to shoo grown men away from her. She has a boyfriend now who just started college this past fall (he's only 18 so not much age difference) but they fight a lot. They just aren't mature enough to handle a long distance relationship especially considering they are at two completely different points in their lives.

    @AmeliaBedelia:  Oh goodness the girls... Lil cuz' is a cutie and super sweet and a total ladies man, I may have threatend to tell the girl who kept posting junk on his wall to put on more clothes.  Luckily now he has figured out hoochies don't make good girlfriends. And that his older cousins (he has 3 of us!) WILL call them on their lack of clothing... publically if need be. Not that we bully teenage girls, just remind him that we can/will tell  them that our cousin is a gentleman and does not want to see all her goods out on display so she should put them away.

    @Overjoyed060113:  OMG speaking of older people hitting on the little ones...My OTHER brother (the 17 yr old) got hit on by our Realtor! She was in her 40s or 50s and she gave HIM her card and was going super cougar on him. I almost died. :/

    @AmeliaBedelia:
    *facepalm*

    What is it with some people? I get that age is just a number and all people mature at different rates but honestly I have yet to meet anyone under 20 who has the maturity to deal with that kind of May/December relationship. I mean we aren't talking five-ten years here we're talking 20-30 years age difference.

    We're just lucky no older men have hit on her around her brother. He is FIERCELY protective of her and his youngest sis(who is 13..kill me now)

    lol The problem is these two girls are just too pretty for their own good. Athletic, developed early, big doe eyes, pretty smiles and just the right amount of naive to get them in trouble if they aren't careful.

    The 16 year old calls/texts a lot to talk about this or that and I am so glad she's comfortable confiding in me but now I know why my mom was almost completely gray by the time she had me at 30. After going through two teenagers(my sister was especially rebelious) the thought of doing it all over again with me had to have been stressful.

    It just so weird because my FI is almost 10 years older than the 16 year old sister and we've been dating for 6 nearly 7 years so I've watched her grow up. It's not like I came into the picture and she was already grown so she ended up being more of a friend than a sister. This girl(both of them actually) is every bit as much of my sister as my biological sister.

    But they are both smart girls and they have a strong support system around them so I guess all I can do is relax a little and hope for the best.

    @Overjoyed060113:  Yeah. At least wait until he's legal please. :/ Both my brothers are beautiful, let's just say it. Lol. They are athletic, smart, adorable, and sweet. I'm semi-okay with them dating (okay not really, but I'll deal) but the whole Realtor-lady-chatting-up-my-brother thing was wayyyyy weird. I'm hoping I like this girl who he's bringing to the wedding, she seems normal. Good news: NONE of her pictures are in bathing suits in a mirror!! Yay. Lol.

    I totally get what you're saying about your relationship with your FSILs. My youngest sister who is 7 has actually never known me without me being with FI - he's technically "been around" longer than she has! So she thinks of him as her much older almost brother. It's pretty frickin' adorable. And she is absolutely THE cutest. She's going to be a heartbreaker. I feel bad for the boys who will want to date her though, between her dad, her 2 brothers, her BIL (FI) and me and my mom....they have a lot of impressing to do. Lol.

    I don't have siblings, but I feel that way about people I was really close with from the time I was 6 until I was 12 or so. I see them again and they're like "OH MY GOSH, Next time I'm having sex I'm totally going to yell such and such" and I'm like "WHO TOOK YOUR CHASTITY BELT OFF, MISSY?"

    I am a younger sibling, so I'll say that my brother definitely thought it was weird that I was dating. He's 8.5 years older than me. He used to joke that he'd drive away any potential boyfriends. When I went to college, he came up to visit me. He wanted to kill all the men in the area. We went out to party and no guys ever got to come up to me to talk, or dance. I don't think he likes any of the guys I've dated. He originally had issues with FI too, and I still don't know if he likes FI. I think I would describe it more as, you're happy and engaged and I just have to accept it.

    I do have a second cousin who is practically like my sister. Because we are really close, it's not so much weirded out that she has a dating life but more like sad. I'm used to the notion of her dating guys, but when I really think about what that means, I feel sad that that precious little baby grew into a stunning young woman in a blink of an eye. I often tell her that I wish I could just shrink her down back to when she was a toddler and keep her that way forever.

    Haha. I can only imagine what my brothers have been thinking then. They are 7 and 9 years older than me and I'm the only one who is married and now I've got a baby on the way.

    It's kind of funny to see how the older siblings think. :P
