Yes, I have new front loaders and they play a little tune at the end of the cycle. :)
@mandb122: Are you talking about an actual song or what?! I have new front load washer/dryer and it sings to me when I turn it on and off. But it's more like, "da-da-daaa, daaa-da-da". And I can't remember exactly what happens when it's done, but it doesn't buzz, it's a "tune" again. More like tones than actual music. So cute :)
@kperry3: Yeah it's more of a tune/tones but it's still weird to me. Ours is just a small, top-loading, space-saving washing machine.
i would rather have a song than an annoying buzzing sound! COOL! i need one of these.
Mine doesn't sing, but it will dance across the floor if it's not completely full. It's better than some dancers on SYTYCD!

Yes! My FI got an old washer from his aunt for our apartment, and it does the little tune at the end :)
I've never heard of that! I would actually like doing laundry if my washing machine seranaded me every time it finished doing the dirty work.
My washer and dryer both do that! It sings when you turn it on, off, and makes cute little beep noises whenever you turn the dial to the different settings. It makes me quite happy :]
Our oven does that when it reaches the preset temp and when the timer goes off. Is the washer/dryer an LG?

Does anyone else have a washing machine that does this? We're renting a house that has a washer and dryer in it. It was quite a surprise the first time we did laundry when our washing machine started playing a little song when it finished instead of buzzing. It plays the song for about thirty seconds or so. It's a space saver washing machine and pretty new. I had never seen this before and people seemed confused when I told them about it. It also has lint filters which I've never seen before on a washing machine, I've only seen those on the dryer. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if I'm the only weird one with a singing washing machine.
