Weddingbee boards

So I did what any good bride would do and rolled up to the Bridal and Formal shop in Cincinnati with pictures and style numbers....the works.  If anyone doesn't know about Bridal and Formal, you need to know.  They have 3,000 wedding gowns. They take you in the room with all the dresses and point you in the direction of your budget and style.  They're all arranged by designer so it makes it super easy to find what you need.  My bridal consultant, Cynthia, was amazing!  She took what I came in with to another level.  She had me try on a few different styles but we clearly found that the trumpet type silhouette suits me well.  I am now a diehard fan of diagonal rouching on the stomach area.  That stuff makes you look fabulously skinnier than you are!  Cynthia and my entourage of 5 ladies pulled around 15 dresses and I tried them all.  It came down to about 3 that were all very similar.  Rouching trumpet style with a beautiful flower.  I ended up with a Marisa who aparently copies Melissa Sweet a lot.  I tried on the Melissa Sweets only because they had a trunk show and would give me a great discount but the differences were pretty slim and her dresses would require a good deal of working out on my part.  The rouching on my Marisa is just so forgiving that I really only need to work on my arms.  Anyways, here is me in the dress.  Has anyone seen pictures of this dress online or know the style number?  I can't find it and the Marisa website is under construction.  Ahhhhh I'm so excited! I woke up in the middle of the night and could barely get back to sleep because I started thinking about it!

Thank you everyone.  I was expecting dress shopping to be a long and drawn out process.  I flew home to Cincinati until Tuesday morning and now I got so much knocked out of the way yesterday that I have a lot of time to relax.  I should mention I also got the bridesmaid dreses picked out and cake contract done.

Bella - The BM dresses were $205 and then we got 20% off that.  I haven't searched to find them cheaper but I am going to just to make sure.

Thank you guys for all the kind comments.  I've been anticipating this shopping so much and it's amazing how much of a relief it is now.  I feel like so many other things fall into place easier once you have the dress!

Thanks everyone! I was reading the new Bride's magazine and came across an ad with my dress in it but by Mikaella. I freaked out since I thought this was exactly like mine.  I was so confused the day I was trying on so many dresses that I thought I bought a Marisa but I couldn't find pictures of it online.  So I called the store back just to check and then to see if this Mikaella which is exactly the same might be less expensive.  It turns out I actually bought Mikaella Style 1406.  Mystery solved!  Now I have a magazine ad to show people when they ask about my dress.  Yay!
