As of today, I am officially tired of being pregnant. My back hurts from sleeping on the side, I don't sleep well and I started waking up every 2-3 hours in the night to use the washroom, my tummy hurts, my fingers are swollen I'll have to take off my rings... :(  AND I discovered my shins were swollen! Yeah, you read that right! I didn't know this was even possible.

Oh, and you know how it's so adorable when the baby kicks? Well there comes a point where it's not so cute anymore and you just want your tummy to stop moving! And to get that foot out of your ribs for just 2 minutes.

Ok, rant over. I'm ready to be a mom!

LOL I remember that. When I got home from  the hospital,, I LOVED sleeping on my back again!

He'll be here soon enough! Good luck on the last fews months/weeks!

Lol, I've been there, too!  Just remember that it WILL end soon.  Even if you feel like you're going to be pregnant forever and that the baby will never come out, it will eventually end.  Keep busy and he'll be here before you know it.  Good luck!

And then the baby comes and screams and screams and screams and you have to wake up every two hours to feed it and you never get to sleep again. Not that being a mom isn't awesome and wonderful.... but being pregnant has it's perks too :) Try to relax because really, you don't have any other choice, the baby will come when it wants to, and just enjoy the quiet while you still have it!

@mommytobee:  With my last pregnancy, I was doing squats in the kitchen when DH walked in... all I said was, "I've got to have this child!!"  lol  You're going to be so amazed by this little person you've brought into the world that everything else kind of pales in comparison!  :)

@mommytobee: No worries... I think it's just my baby that is a fussy guss :) And even with having so many issues (my milk didn't come in so the first night from the hospital was a scream fest b/c she was hungry, and we just finally figured out she has reflux so that's been hard to deal with) I still am so madly in love and wouldn't change a thing.

But really take advantage of your baby free life! Enjoy your hubby, meals that are just the two of you, meals without a baby in your hands, go to the movies, go to a nice restaurant. Things that you won't be doing for a long time after the baby comes!

I could of written this post myself 3 months ago.  And I got all the advice you're getting now.  I kinda just thought, "yeah, ok, whatever just get the baby out".  But they're right.  Enjoy the time you have, do the things you really enjoy doing as a couple.  Even if it just means having a meal together.  Because that certainly changes when the baby comes!  We've attempted to have nice quiet dinners since baby- it seems that our baby senses it and freaks out right when our plates hit the table.  Regardless of the changes, it's so worth it... so, so, so worth it!

Well, I am sure prepared for the sleepless nights! was up from 1 to 4 last night and too uncomfortable to go back to sleep. As a result I'm staying home instead of going to work where it's really busy but I need to be able to focus and that was not going to happen today. Good thing they invented mat leave!

I hear you all on enjoying the little things and we're trying to do just that. But with so much to do until the baby comes, it's already difficult - mind you I'll be finishing my last school project either this week or next week, so that will help.

I so remember that feeling!!! It sucks when  you just want them out and you want to move on with your life with your new little bundle of joy! I wish you the best of luck the end of pregnancy is the worste, but hey that means its almost over and you will have your baby soon! My son was very stubborn and he didnt want to come out and meet the world. I finally got induced 5 days after my due date... But it happened. It WILL happen! Feel better!!

I had this saaaaame feeling at the end of my pregnancy.  And no joke, a week after Liv was born, I missed being pregnant =o) Not because it was hard or whatever, I just missed the belly and feeling her in there

I've got a little less than 6 weeks until my due date and while I'm enjoying my freedom - getting to go out to eat, get a pedicure, go to the movies with DH... I miss my body. The body of mine that doesn't ache at all angles, all hours. I miss my feet, the ones that can bend at the ankle without feeling like they'll burst. I know I'll be trading one thing for the other, but I think I'll be smiling a lot more on the other side! :)
