So the bridal shop called last week to let me know my dress had come in early, and while she didn’t want to start fittings yet she wanted me to come in and make sure everything was perfect with the gown. I was finally able to go in yesterday and try on MY gown, not the sample that was too small and I never really got the full picture of what it would look like because it wouldn’t fall completely over my hips/butt…even still I loved it. Well I posted before about being worried that I had made to rash of a decision…but after seeing it again I know that this dress is just ME. I was also excited because it is a bit too big, the corset isn’t able to do what it is supposed to the shape is a bit off, I feel like my waist looks bulky right now when I know I’m more hourglassed. So just 12 more pounds to lose to get to my goal of 150 and lots of toning (I was doing great but literally have not been to the gym in a month because I couldn’t shake bronchitis) and I can’t wait to get it truly fitted to me. Okay I’m just babbling now, but I was just sooo worried I had made the wrong decision and am so relieved. Okay here she is 🙂

@totheislnds: Thanks so much! And that is very kind of you, but I def have some pounds to drop, I’ve embraced the fact that I will never be a size4 but I would still like to slim it down a bit.

Lovely! The lace in the back is to die for 🙂

Gorgeous dress! If you lose any more weight the corset won’t even corset correctly! Sheesh. But that’s what alterations are for… you look lovely.

@MamaMegs721: Love how it highlights your shape.

@KristenGotMarried: Thanks! That is the problem I having right now though, since it needs to be taken in on the sides the corset isn’t doing its job and cinching me, but like you said alterations will do the trick…It is just sad to think that now I won’t see her again until Feb.

Looks beautiful! I tried on my dress last week, and I have the same problem – it needs to be taken in to really show the full effect (although yours already looks amzing on you!).

The back of that dress is fantastic!

Thank ya’ll so much! However, as in love as I felt..I am now again feeling like maybe I should have gone for a different shape? Damn SYTTD, I feel like maybe at true fit and flare would be better, or even a drop waist…and as much as I love how the lace straps look in the back…I’m not feeling the front. Is this a sign? dress regret take 2?

I love the back of your dress! The front is gorgeous too and you look amazing in it. I understand the dress regret, I was torn between two. I bought mine today and was already having second thoughts! So crazy. You look amazing, hopefully the regret passes quickly!
