I am so happy. My fiancé and I put an offer on a house and it was accepted (well there was some back and forth, but we ended up just going with the asking price bc of the market here).
I am so relieved you don’t even understand. I felt like I wasn’t enjoying my wedding planning because we had this home buying hanging over our head. It’s in the area we wanted. Only one bathroom but we plan on adding a second in 2 or 3 years. It’s a nice little house that we can grow into.
Now just waiting on the inspection! Keep your fingers crossed for us!

thanks so much! I’ll keep you posted on it all.

Maybe the one bathroom is a blessing in disguise since you paid for a one bathroom house. Adding that bathroom at a later date will add equity to the home and it will hopefully be more valuable when you sell it.

So happy for you !
@FoxyBride14: buying a house is a huge deal! So excited for you! We went through so much with buying our house. Hoping everything goes smooth for you!

@Jessica_Rabbit: yea, true and we will be paying the lower taxes for the first few years which is nice too since taxes here are outrageous.
@SpringDaisy5: ugh I know! We’ve been looking since April and we got out bid so many times. Or did a same bid but since someone had the cash on hand they obviously got it over us. I’m just hoping that all works out. Glad that it ended up working for you in the end!
@Washingtonian: thanks! Us too!!!

@FoxyBride14: How exciting! My FI and I bought our first home this past Sept. We moved in the middle of Oct. I can’t believe its going to be 3 months already since we moved in. Buying our house was a very lengthy and stressful process. From the time we put in our first offer until we actually got keys was 2.5 months. The bank actually said it usually doesn’t take that long to close on a house, but we had some set backs. Good Luck on the inspection!

@MrsHotPink: so our search continues. The inspection report was not good. People cut corners who were flipping it and there was just way too much wrong with the home. Like lots of stuff needed to be fixed rather quickly
Guess that’s why you need to get an inspection. I’m just so depressed and disgusted right now.

I’m so sorry! I know how frustrating it can be. *hugs!*

@Miss Wellies: Thanks. There’s something else out there. And more time to save (yay).
Actually, I am just so over looking. I absolutely hate it and I never ever want to look again. So we really need to make sure we find a good one the first shot.

Aw, I’m sorry it didn’t work out – but better you know now than it fall apart after you’ve purchased it!
