So sorry you are feeling down! I hope you sell the wedding dress soon. Gradually the sadness will get less and less. Better to be single than to put up with someone who made you miserable. Better days are ahead!

That’s really sad. I hope that you are able to sell the dress soon and move on with your life.

I’m so sorry for everything that happened. Even though you love the dress, it’s a good idea to sell it. This way you can start fresh and won’t have it there reminding you of how you feel right now.

Selling my wedding dress and rings, and getting rid of everything else wedding related was like a huge weight was lifted for me after my marriage ended. I’m sure you will feel the same when you sell your dress!

Over time you will feel better and you will be getting stronger each and every day *hugs*

🙁 I’m so sorry!  You definitely need to sell it though.  Your story just brought to mind a blog post that a friend of mine wrote last year.  I just re-read it and got teary at her raw emotions as she describes selling the house that she and her ex husband shared…and giving away her wedding dress.  I know that you’re not giving yours away, but I just thought that I would share her little story.  Maybe there’s a glimmer of hope and a word of encouragement in there.  ((hugs)) http://happilyeverfaster.com/2012/06/21/im-still-breathing/

I went through a horrible breakup 4 years ago and am trying SO hard to sell my old dress. We never ended up getting married (broke up 3 weeks before the wedding). I tried a  few times to sell it and even though I love my Fiance, everytime I look at this dress in my closet I get sick to my stomach. I think getting rid of it is a great idea to help you move on. Ending a marriage/relationship is hard, very hard. And sometimes there is just one thing keeping you from moving forward and living your life. I hope things get better for you hun.
