Can you get a similar looking cheaper version as a stand in?

I see lots of women in the OR (I’m a medical student) with their e-rings safety pinned to their scrubs. You could do something similar but with a fancier pin – or one that’s easier for you to open/close, since it sounds like you’re having a little trouble with manual dexterity. 🙂

Maybe get a pretty cz stand-in?  That could be fun.

I  have some health issues, so deal with puffy fingers (going back on Prednisone tonight or tomorrow) as well as arthritis. We did pay for free resizing on my rings for life, but haven’t used it yet. My rings are slightly loose when it’s cold out AND I have no swelling (for those occasions I have a plastic piece that snaps on – it’s not cute, but it’s on the underside so no one sees it). Any chance you could put it on a necklace? If you’re not sure if you can do/undo the clasp, you could either have someone help you (my partner has to help me w/ most of my clasps) or you could get one with a clasp that is easier for you to do. I have a few necklaces that are large enough I can just slip them over my head, as well as some that use a toggle clasp, and a few others that have a magnetic clasp.

I am sorry you are having this problem, I really think you should get a stand in! Maybe CZ or a gemstone!
