So we printed all our invites..and realized it says Lane instead of Way for the grooms house address. Everyone says its over and done with. And no one really needs the address..everyone knows where we live except a few from out of state. But I feel sad. Half of me wants to go buy 200 more cards and redo it all. But we used a lot of ink and everyone says its not worth it to repribt everyrhing because we put way ibstead of lane…..comments?. I think we got carried away trying to format everything…..:((((

i accidentally had mine say that i live in surside, and not surfside as it should be. on both of the envelopes. i didnt pay to reprint, and nobody noticed but me. or if they did, they didn’t comment.

@heavenslight: It’s not worth it. It really isn’t, as long as there isn’t a X Lane and a X Way in the same city, you are fine. Google maps/Garmin will get people to the right place 🙂

aw, i understand it may seem like a big deal-but take a deep breath no one will think about it! If i were you closer to the wedding i would email those who do not know how to get there with the address. It’s definitely not worth resending.

@heavenslight: I understand that it must feel awful to discover that after they were all printed, especially if you had put a lot of thought and effort into them! However, as the pp’s have said – it’s not worth the effort to re-do them. In case you’re very worried about it, do you have a wedding website where you could point out the mistake?

@heavenslight: it’s not worth it. save your energy for the rest of the things that you need to get done.

Could you petition the city to change the road name? 😉
I wouldn’t redo them all. But, if you really want a correct one as a momento, just go print a few corrected versions.
It’ll be OK. 🙂
