I already have my wedding dress well i paid for it but it hasnt came in yet.
but i am so tempted to go try on more dresses. i knew the first one i tried on was the “one” so i only tried on a few more after that. i didnt go all over town either i miss that experience. so now i kinda want to go all over town and try on dresses.
Did anyone else do that? i feel like i am missing out on an experience

I felt that way too about my dress. Next to every other dress I loved it and knew it was for me. Then when I heard about other brides trying on all these dresses, and then watching the wedding dress shows “Say Yes to the Dress” I started to wonder. I almost went once, but then realized I am only going to stress myself out more because what if I find something else I like??? I can’t afford to pay for two dresses so I just tried to focus on other things and eventually I got over it.

I wouldnt do it, you might find another one you like and be tempted to get 2 dresses! I know its fun to try them on but Id be scared Id find another dress and would want to buy it and end up torn between both.

NOOOOOOOOOOO (said in a slow motion voice)!!!
Okay, here’s how I see it- You already love your dress, so that’s good. You said it was “the one”. also good. If you go looking for other dresses, I think 1 of 2 things will happen. You will
1) find another dress that you also love and then agonize over it and then have to figure out a way to unload your current dress or eat the cost of it (is that really something you want to go through?)
2) not find another dress and feel like you’re settling on your current dress
my vote is that you don’t go looking for more dresses. But that’s just one girl’s opinion.

If you love your dress, don’t go looking. It will only lead to baaad, bad things like wanting a second dress. I’m only for looking if you feel you made a bad decision and don’t really love your dress, which doesn’t sound to be the case for you. I went to 22 stores in search of the perfect dress so I don’t leave any stone unturned. Personally, I hated “the experience”. Time, energy, feeling of hesitation and undecisiveness, pressure from salespeople, having to get undressed in front of strangers, eveyone staring at you like you’re on display, some salespeople making rude and inappropriate comments about your body…Ugh, I definitely won’t miss it.

Step away from the bridal salon, step away from the dress pics in the magazines, step away from trunk shows . . . .Be happy and content with your dress! So many brides doubt their decision when they try on more dresses, and you shouldn’t! Because you know you more than anyone else.
You love your dress, your dress is the best, your dress is better than all the rest (repeat, breath deeply, repeat)

Maybe you should try on the sample of the dress you bought because you may miss it.
