Your pictures don’t work, but I would just wear it on my right hand ring finger.   That way you can wear it allll the time and not have to alternate, choose between two rings.

I think in some countries, the right hand is where they wear the wedding ring, if that helps!

I agree with the PP.

On my sister’s wedding day I gave her one of our late mother’s rings. She wears it on her right hand and it’s lovely.

Your SO hasn’t purchased your e-ring yet? Why not ask him to take the stone from your grandmother’s ring and have it set into the ring he picks out for you? It seems to me that would be the perfect solution. It’s still something from your grandmother, but it will also be the ring he proposes with.

@ComputerLove06:  Yeah, the pics didnt work. I say wear it as a RHR if your SO cares so much.

i would keep it as a rhr and then pass it on to your children.

your fi obviously has been thinking about this and wants to get you something special of your very own.  let him.

@ComputerLove06:  That ring is gorgeous! I would keep it as is and wear it on my right hand.

I had my grandmothers diamond made into a right hand ring. I love it! Hers really looked “engagementy” so I had it reset, but if it had been more low profile, I would have kept it as is.

@ComputerLove06:  I think you found a good compromise!! I know how you feel, but it will be better this way! I wear my diamond heirloom ring on my right hand as my SO wanted to buy me a ring (I’m still a waiting bee, boo) and my mother felt the same as my SO.  Oh well, more bling for us!
