I like it! Short, sweet, and to the point!

I might switch “We regret to inform ” to “We are elated to inform”, since the wedding’s cancelled for good reasons!

I have to say, if I’d bought airfare then ended up not having an event to go to, I’d be pissed. If you want to avoid pissing anyone off, have your BBQ on the originally announced date and invite at a minimum all your out-of-towners.

@pandaroo:  Girl, I think you made an awesome choice! As much as I love looking at everyone’s gorgeous, large weddings, eloping for us was the best choice and it sounds like this is what is best for you! That’s what I think a lot of us lose sight of is that the wedding is about you and your SO. We get so wrapped up in everything else, we forget that! 

Your wedding is going to be SO amazing! I cannot wait to see all of the photos!
