One of the parts of my wedding I am most excited about is my flowers - I love them and was an avid gardener before I moved to the desert. My requirements for my bouquet is that it have an antique feel with texture and fragrance and then when I changed my date to April that it have my favorite flower, Lily of the Valley
So here is what my florist chose and I cannot wait to see how it turns out
Hand Tied Styling with Halloween, Sahara and Vendela roses, Ivory Garden/English roses, off white freesia, stephanotis clusters, antique hydrangea, dusty miller, lily of the valley with tulle folds and streamers
Here is the picture of the flowers and I cannot wait to see my bouquet

So who else is excited about their bouquet and what did you pick? Why did you pick what you did?
I'm doing all calla lilies. I just think they are really pretty and easy to DIY.

I can't post pics, although I have a good idea in my brain of the flowers.
We're going to a local farm the day before the wedding and buying fresh flowers for the centerpieces and bouquets. My guess is that there will be a lot of yellow, since its a September wedding. They'll go in mason jars with sea glass (real, collected from the beach) at the bottom. The bouquets will just be tied with a nice blue ribbon.
I had lisianthus, hydrangea, lilies, narcissus, and star of bethlehem. I basically went into my meeting with the florist and said "I want a mostly white bouquet and I hate roses...what can I do?" I loved it!

Don't have pics yet, but black calla lilies and purple artichokes with manzanita!
I went with all white peonies. I think they are beautiful and I was on a budget so couldn't have an intricate bouquet like I originally wanted.

I cant post pictures at work, but I will tell you about my bouquet. Flowers I found were the hardest part. I didn't know what I wanted and just didnt see any pictures that suited my taste. Until I finally found the bouquet....I was thinking about sunflowers but ended up going with...
white hydrangeas, yellow mini calli lillies, yellow orchids, and a big white gardenia. I'm so completely excited about my bouquet, it is going to look stunning. If you google yellow and gray bouquets it will pop up.
@LovebirdsSC: Sounds gorgeous and like it will really pop!!!!
@bali_y: Simple but completely stunning!!!
@lobbyart: ok trying to picture - do you have an inspiration pic?
@misspeanut: very pretty - my daughter is having lisianthus in her bouquet as well
@futuremrsfitz18: sounds pretty - are you having an outdoors wedding?
@BoiledPNut: You are brave to DIY flowers - where are you going to get them from?
My inspiration was roses and gebera daisys... but when I saw how my actual bouquet turned out with the daises, I hated it... and had it redone with roses instead of the geberas.
Actual
white ranunculus, yellow craspedia, silver brunia (hopefully), and dusty miller - I feel like I'm leaving something off, but I guess not. I'm hoping there's a lot of ranunculus. I have a hard time picturing it completely together in my head, but I know my florist knows what she's doing, so I'm not worried! Can't wait to see it next month! Eek!

I am doing a bouquet of 2 dozen orange roses. I just love the simplicity of roses and I think they are so romantic.

this is my paper flower bouquet! i know it tacky but i made them and i love them ;)
I was really, really excited about mine, and when I told my florist what I wanted, she was super excited too! I had scoured inspiration boards and magazines, and Google Image-d my little heart out trying to find something that really went with the overall feel of our wedding...warm, luminescent and elegant. And then I remembered playing with these as a kid, and I knew my search was over.
My lunaria bouquet:
I originally wanted something with more green in it, but couldnt get the combo right. (I made my own bouquet)
So I just went with this instead!

Red roses, red calla's and red hypercium berries.

Flowers weren't really that important to me. I just had my florist put together her best "fall mix" to go along with our fall theme...

I DIY-ed my bouquet. It's made of green and ivory hydrangea

I had all of my girls carry a bouquet of one type of flower, and my bouquet was a combination of all of them. From left to right, we had hydrangias, ranunculus, roses, (me), garden roses, cala lillies, and gardenias. I also had a brooch from my grandmother and a strand of pearls from my father incorporated into it. :)

I did Black Magic roses, Karma Chocolate dahlias and the little fern frond guys with black ostrich feathers and rhinestone accents.

Bridal Bouquet—Beautiful, bouquet of purple stock, eggplant mini calla lilies, lavender roses, dark purple lisianthus and purple tulips. To incorporate rosary provided by the bride. Stems wrapped with ivory ribbon.

No Idea what it is gonna look like...I've pretty much given my florist free reign, she is super creative. I'm so glad I was able to book her!!!
Roses, hydrangeas, hypericum (sp?) berries... Here's a pic

@agreeneyedbride: Beautiful! I love the soft colors.
@linguo42: I also really love yours. For some reason, I think it fits with what I think your personality is like, based off your ring. Weird association, I know. I love your ring more than any other ring I have ever seen, including my own. Just FYI.
Mine is cotton bolls, balsa wood flowers, and various dried florals. I went all white for mine and white and orange for my girls.

@unixfairy: I'm going to get them from www.growersbox.com. My girls are going to help me put them together the night before. I've watched tons of videos on how to do calla bouquets and it looks so easy!
Sunflowers, purple ranunculus, gerbera daisies, craspidia, hypericum berries, canterbury bells, bachelor buttons, poppy pods and finesse roses. I wanted wildflowers in an assortment of colors.
My bouquet is going to be just a big, round, hand tied bouquet of chocolate dahlia.
The flower (fully open blooms)

The shape:

My girls are all having bouquets of primarily white, but with different flowers that I felt reflected their personalities - one will have tulips, one will have carnations, one with have spider mums, and then I have a bridesman who will wear a white fresia bout. Each white bouquet will be tied together with a few burgundy rununculas.
Kind of a general idea picture:

Then the groomsmen will wear a white flower matching the bouquet of the BM they are escorting, with bear grass loops. My groom will be wearing a chocolate dahlia to match my bouquet.

I just bought these from Hobby Lobby! They're real touch, and I can't wait to DIY them :)
I wish I had access to dahlias without breaking the bank. fell in love with them while in seattle on vacation last year. This is what i'm going with and the florist says it's "no problem"
@agreeneyedbride: I love your bouquet! Especially the berries and color palette. So pretty!
@peasantsong: Your bouquet is so unique! I love the cotton bolls and all the different textures! Wouldn't have thought of it, but now I am!
Wow! Such gorgeous bouquets! I am like @bali_y: -- I had all white peonies, too! (Although I initially was torn between all white and all pink, my wonderful floral-events designer showed up on the day of my wedding with one of each, so I was able to use the pink one for a creative pic that we wanted!)

@peasantsong: Oh my gosh! May I just say that I LOVE the pic you posted!! Your dress is amazing, and your bouquet is so unique and beautiful!
I found this photo on Pinterest and gave it to my florist for our inspiration. I'm so excited! Our florist is awesome and I can't wait to see everything!

I reeeally wanted peonies but unfortunately they weren't in season so I just asked my florist (a friend) to make me something similar. I loved what she did and I was sad to leave them behind when I went on my honeymoon!

@sommertime: Thank you! Texture is exactly what I was going for. My friends, family and I DIY'd it all in a giant, flower making party. It was wonderful having that time with them all to girl talk and make bouquets.
@Brielle: Thank you too! The picture is courtesy of Trizza Grantham Photography and my dress is the Allure C157.
Here's a couple more pics of the other flowers, in case you were curious :)
