I would go to one but North AL is dead.

It seems like people just get together and go out to eat or something.  Nothing too crazy.

They’re fun! The NYC bees have a standing meet up. We go to a bar for happy hour and chat. We make name tags.

I went to one!  It was fun, we had dinner and we all just talked about our weddings, I even found my commissioner through one of the girls who was at the meetup.

I’ve been to three I think.  First one was brunch at a restaurant, the second was in the common room at one of the bees house (most of us had met at the brunch) and the third was dinner/drinks.  Just good food and wedding chatter.

I would probably go if it was within 30 minutes. I probably wouldnt go if I had to go through Baltimore or DC traffic though…I hate city traffic. I think happy hour and apps would be fun.

I would LOVE to go to a meet-up! I think it would be so much fun! However, there aren’t really many bees from my state. I know of two and one is no longer active and the other lives quite far.

@yanamari:  they gee in popularity. The first was just 5 of us, then about 8, and the most recent was probably just about 20?

I’d go to one if there was one for waiting bees near me. Once I’m officially engaged I’ll probably be more active in trying to find meetings to go to- I think it would be kinda interesting. Although it doesn’t seem like there are very many Alabama bees out there :/

I would go, if there was one in Vermont or southern New Hampshire. But I only know of maybe 2 other bees who live in Vermont. . . I know one of them does but am not sure about the other, and haven’t seen her around in a while.

It would be kind of fun to find out what state/province/other country all the bees are from, to arrage meet-ups– but I wonder if a lot of people would find that too weird?

Aw I’m so jealous! Anyone want to come to Korea for a meet up? I’ll host!
