I wore Spanx and a normal strapless bra. It worked out fine. I wore nylons too, which I know a lot of people frown upon, but it made me feel more comfortable.
My suggestion is to wear a busiter that's a full strapless bra and continues down to the panty line. And THEN wear spanx style panties. I think that should solve the problem. Because those panties are usually a bit higher so you should be well covered in that area, if it's something you might be concerned about.

I'm wearing a strapless a-line dress and have many areas underneath to flatten-out. LOL. Should I don one of those body suit strapless things? I'm concerned that if I do a bra or corset type top that I'll have an extra, unwanted roll between bottom of corset and top of underwear. The biggest parts of my body are my stomach and hips and I want something that will give a smooth look across my whole torso. Another prob I've found is that because I'm a big girl but small-chested is that by the time I find something (like a corset or full body thing) to fit width wise, the cup size is way big and shows when I put my wedding dress on.
Any suggestions?
