Here is my engagement ring:
here is the band that FI just purchased but I am still a little unsure of and can still be exchanged:
and here is the band that is supposed to go with the ring:
the color is a little off in the second pic but they are all the same in person! Did I make the right decision considering the band he bought is slightly off as far as matching in diamond size to the engagement ring side stones and how far they stretch across the rings doesn’t match up. The third pic the one that actually matches the ring I was a little iffy on bc of the way it dipped down! So I really need opinions and advice please!!!

I much prefer the one you chose! great pair 🙂

@blondiegirl: the pro of the band you already have, is that lets say one day you want to only wear your wedding band, and leave your engagement ring at home, maybe you’re running a marathon or going somewhere where you want to be more descrete, that band looks good by itself. I think the pointed band would look a little odd by itself.
My wedding band has bigger diamonds than my engagement ring’s side stones. that just means it sparkles more 😉

I also like the first band, and @FutureMrsMcLaughin: makes a great point about maybe wanting to wear your band and E-ring separate.

@FutureMrsMcLaughin: Yeah, you make a good point! Although, I really don’t think I will ever have much of a reason to wear the two seperate, you never know! The one we got would definitely look better if I chose to wear it alone! I think your rings are gorgeous! I love the sparkly too that’s why I was leaning more towards the one we got since it was more carats than any other we looked at that were available, just wish it matched a little better! The ones that matched better of course as far as diamond size were less carats, not as much sparkly!!! lol Maybe this will just be a reason to get me a larger ering later on down the road, I can look at it that way! he he I guess I will just have to wait till it comes back in my size so I can get a better idea! Thanks for your advice!!!

I like the band you picked better than the one that matches perfectly. No one will notice a difference in stone size and I think the first one actually matches better. =)
